Just thought i would have a look at live world hack attacks via map.norsecorp.com... and noticed since yesterday massive attacks from China to the West coast of USA.

Has anyone (via West coast servers) noticed any slowdowns / timeouts in the last 48 hours ?

China usually attacks the east coast and a main server at the NW border of US and Alaska. Yet now they are only attacking the west coast.

Any link with the DDoS attack ATS had a few weeks ago? ATS is based on the west coast too...

S&F for the update!

I haven't experienced any troubles or slowdowns. I'm not located in the US however I've been using westcoast servers for "reasons"

That being said I might try it from china based servers next time

Just because an attack emanates from a particular country, doesn't mean the attack is controlled by someone from that country. Chinese boxes are notoriously vulnerable to rooting.

The US houses a lot of the big stuff of the internet like amazon/facebook etc so is always a target and due to internet routing quite often a lot of the traffic will be routed through certain core points where norse has their gear

But i wouldn't worry about it, theres so many zombie machines around and you can rent them, so its become a bit of a common business tactic for some people to ddos their competitors.

And i do wish the press etc would stop calling DDOS hacking as its no where near the same sort of thing

Yeah and they are also all from unknown protocols as well.

Interesting though, sure is enough activity to cause me to raise an eyebrow.

If the location of Roseville checks out, the only thing I can see there is that HP have about 2100 employees there, I wonder if they have a data center or something like that.

Its quite hallmark of USA is attacking itself to frame and blame others

Same goes for most every massacre, terror attack, etc on us soil nowadays.

As for this, an ongoing e911

Same old, same old

I think that is just Bernie Sander followers attacking Hillary email servers over yesterdays debacle.

Even though we can't say from the norse map who initiated those attacks its rather interesting that something is going on.

Probably a response to recent U.S incursions of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.

Naive and blind people on both ends of the spectrum are the lulz..

It's a unique ability of some folks here that they believe nothing happens if the CIANSA doesn't do it.

Yeah, have you Americans been watching porn lately? There are Chinese flags over all the fun bits and the Chinese anthem playing instead of the normal audio track.
