new pic of earth from the LRO;

"It is one of the most stunning images of our planet ever created.

Nasa's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) recently captured the unique view of Earth from the spacecraft's vantage point in orbit around the moon.

It reveals Earth seeming to rise over the craters of the lunar horizon."

so we have a new full-globe image of earth taken from space. looks cool. - "The image was composed from a series of images".

a nice pic.

www.dailymail.co.uk...

ps if someone could put the pic in here i'd be most grateful

If you crop the Apollo photo, you can make the Earth look bigger in relationship to the moon.

OK so that makes it a better rendition to the masses because tptb wouldnt want to give us the actual data ...wecould never see what they want us to see if they did that . makes sense :>)

You do know the earth is flat, right?

Awesome pic. We are fortunate to live on that ball of dirt and water.

I would imagine it's a longer focal length for the lens used.

Two different moonrise photos:

Both were taken from Earth.
Is this proof that we have two different moons....
or the moon grows and shrinks?
