Over the weekend Donald Trump was interviewed, he himself asking the question, "where does the hatred come from, why does it exist from the Islamic community" He said "I don't understand." And he wants to shut off all Muslim immigration until he answers that question.
Ron Paul is so far ahead of Donald on this issue he is left chasing his tail.

Here is the answer from the 2008 debates, interesting to listen to 8 years later.

Add to that the "Wests" unwavering 100% commitment to Israel right or wrong, this isn't that hard to figure out Mr. Trump.
Then again much of GOP field was just as clueless in 2008 as well, more of the same for 2016.

Thanks for posting OP! I remember it very well.

Paul's statements on blow back are spot on, and then Guilliani and the moderators twist this into "we invited them here?"... There is a huge difference between being the cause of terrorists coming to the US and inviting them. If I had been within reach, I would have slapped Guilliani in the face, especially knowing that he was involved in what really went down on 9/11. What a d1ck!

"I don't think we're going to solve this tonight." Right, they won't solve it because they don't want to. Does Trump even see what he's up against with these clowns(not saying he's not a clown himself) in charge and that will be there during question-maybe minus rand but he's not his dad.

"I would ask the congressman to withdraw that statement and tell us he didn't really mean that"

*dumb ass crowd breaks into applause*

"If we think that we can do what we want around the world and not incite hatred then we have a problem. They don't come here to attack us because we're rich and we're free, they come and they attack us because we're over there. What would we think if other countries were doing that to us."

The panel cannot handle his boss response and are forced to change the subject, lmao.

This video is a very clear demonstration of everything that's wrong with politics imo... the only sane guy in the room is looked down upon and booed but the war-mongering fools who don't have 1% the brain power of Ron are the people who dominate the debates and get crowd support. I remember watching a video once where a crowd booed Ron for endorsing the golden rule. People were truly blind back then and it's still not much better today.

EDIT: I managed to find the video I mentioned, you have to see this:

Actually, you guys voted for Obama twice. And well ... you know ... those Bush Administration advisers that you guys were claiming were just spreading fear ... they were actually right.

I didn't vote for anyone in Venezuela either. Or the UK.

Are you giving the Bush administration praise? I recall his administration starting this never ending war. Now Obama and his administration has continued to compound the problem.

If Radical Islam was Bush target then why that moron invade Iraq rather than Saudi Arabia?

If Bush was really trying to end the so called war on Terror Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Pakistand would have been top of the hit list not Iraq .
