I agree. When a Muslim commits a terrorist attack their name religion and picture should be withheld. All a Jew conspiracy right?

Let me get this straight. In the eyes of the Left… ….criticism of Planned Parenthood means something like the shooting in Colorado “was bound to happen”…

…but chants where people describe police as ‘pigs’ and call for them to be ‘fried like bacon’ doesn’t lead to attacks on police…

…when an event by Pamela Geller is targeted by an Islamist shooter, it is “not really about free speech; it was an exercise in bigotry and hatred” and the attempt to kill her means she has “achieved her provocative goal”…

… while at the same time, investigators contend we may never know what motivated a 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez to kill four Marines and a sailor in an attack on Chattanooga’s U.S. Naval and Marine Reserve Center last July…

… a shooting by a diagnosed schizophrenic, who believed that grammar was part of a vast, government-directed mind control effort, is characterized by the Southern Poverty law Center as having views that are the “hallmark of the far right and the militia movement” …

… while the shooter who opened fire in the lobby of the Family Research Council in downtown Washington in 2012, who planned to target the Traditional Values Coalition next, does not spur any need for a broader discussion or societal lessons about the demonization of political opponents…

… a California killer, who was treated by multiple therapists and already had police checking on him after posting disturbing YouTube videos, is a reflection of “sexist society” …

…but there’s little reason to ask whether the Oregon shooter’s decision to target Christians reflects a broader, societal hostility to Christians, or whether it reflects his personal allegiance to demons…
… When white supremacist Dylann Roof committed an act of mass murder in an African-American church, Salon declares “White America is complicit” and the Washington Post runs a column declaring, “99 percent of southern whites will never go into a church, sit down with people and then massacre them. But that 99 percent is responsible for the one who does”…

… but the Roanoke shooter’s endless sense of grievance and perceptions of racism and homophobia in all of his coworkers represents him and him alone…

Do I have all that right? And does that make sense to anyone?

And I'll come back with that post again because your whole screed was about how Dear's professed faith (which is of a brand that is so clearly outside the main that he wound up isolated in cabin without running water or electricity) + anti-abortion rhetoric was what caused him to do what he did rather than his own actions and choices. This is the same thing the OP is trying to establish - that an outside force is what did it, not something the person chose to do.

You want to link the speech of others directly to the act so you can blame those others as much as the person who acted.

Again, you might be able to establish that Dear ranted about Jesus as a means to rationalize what he did in the past, and he might dislike abortion. But can you establish that the words of others directly caused him to act? Or is there simply a correlative link? He himself has taken responsibility for the act, but you want to say he is not responsible that someone else made him do it?

You made the same argument as the OP, and you seem not to see it?

Since when did reporting what is happening in the world become propaganda ?

I have an issue with people who have their heads buried so far in the sand that they cannot listen to a news report about Islamic terrorists without claiming it's propaganda.

Open your eyes.

I don't condone violence against people because of their religion but I do think that the population of the US should have a say in it's immigration policy.

While very sad, that this happen to Muslims in the US the reality is that repercussions will happen after terrorist act like the one in San Bernardino.

We are humans and many will act out of stupidity. People will retaliate and many do not care if the targets are guilty or not for whatever agenda they are going after.

That is why terrorism in America should be stopped any way the government can, because if we get more terrorist attacks life is not going to be easy no only for terrorism but for the innocent people caught in the middle of what will became a battler.

We get it. You are so tolerant of beliefs that you want everyone to only believe what you believe and only listen to your liberal news sources. Your open mindedness is astonishing, so long as you don't have to entertain a different idea might be valid.

How about the obvious angle -Muslims, stop engaging in terrorism if you want the bad reputation to go away.

That would be propaganda and lies. You are inferring that all Muslims should be held accountable for the actions of the radicals.

I am inferring that there are those people out there that get riled up when they watch or listen anti Muslim rhetoric and as a result commits act of hate and violence. Obviously all are not doing it but they are those that cannot seem to think for themselves and use these opinions as facts.

Just for the record pointing out other countries do the same does not help your cause because than you are saying that a supposed great country like America is exactly like them.

I am pretty sure that Americans would hold them self to a higher standard.

No.
Nobody is saying "all muslims".

However, currently most terrorism IS done by muslims.
The media is reporting that as news, which you clearly would like censored.
Censoring the media is NOT America or the west.

Deal with it

No, you just think "real" news is that which has the slant you prefer.

Get back to reality, all news, including that which you like, has a slant.

Muslims are dangerous. They're fundimentalists. So essencially they're a bit crazy. There's no room for compremise or debate with them. So the next time you see a muslim I'd suggest you do this....

You're being critical of a news agency. Some may consider what you are doing as spreading hate.

They would be wrong. No hate here just pointing out the facts that Fox lies and spreads propaganda about Muslims.

After last weeks shooting, all they talked about was the Muslim aspect of it and it was like the shootings prior to this did not exist.

They continued to harp on how Muslim radicals are the biggest threat to Americans and never even mentioned that gun massacres are usually done by mentally ill people or right wing extremists.

It was like this massacre was the only mass shooting to ever happen or that mass murder is only committed by radical Muslims in America.

When both shootings in a matter of two weeks, all networks were talking about possible causes. I watched to keep informed about what was going on. The first shooting happened and when the perpetrator was found, they ignored the issue of how a mentally ill person got a gun, what religion he was associated with or his motives. They focused on how people are coming after guns..etc.

The 2nd shooting happens..and all they would talk about who it was and what religion they came from and this is America's biggest threat. It was like the last shooting by a Christian did not exist.

It was unbelievable.

If most are mentally ill then its weird. BEcause usually mentally unstable people dont have PLANS. Its a cop out to pass the blame yet again. SOmetimes the most sane people can be mass murderers and just do it just to do it.

Also You dont have to be christian to be right wing. ANYONE and ANY RELIGON CAN BE.
