It's Christmas in Wartune! new patch just added snow and the tree in the center of town and presents. It's tiny type, made it as big as possible, but my shot at a Wartune Xmas card to ATS

Thank you.
Me too! I tend to find myself wandering the halls of ATS and BTS a lot through the winter. I honestly think I have had more real conversation around here the last few years than I have around me, with the exception of my honey.

Haha, instead I'm having stare downs with mama moose harassing my rabbits. She and I just had a moment, I won. Kind of, she left the pellet feeder alone and instead is now finishing off the hay they didn't steal yesterday.

Is that a picture of one of your lovelies?

Happy coming Christmas and other holidays coming.

This is a traditional Christmas song from Finland spiced with some heavy music. Title is Tonttu, what is tonttu ? its a elf kind of little creature like elf but smaller and a bit more bulky.

In finnish mythology they helped around the house, stable, farm and even one kept sure that Sauna is always giving good steam. These little creatures are Santa´s helpers

You don´t want to upset Tonttu, if you do all kind of harm will happen in your property.. so be sure your Tonttu is happy.. they are kind in their heart.

Lyrics in english

It’s a frosty night, and flames
In the north flash glows
People of the quiet mansion
Haul through their dreams in the heart of the night
The moon silently walks on its journey
White snow is on the trees
Snow is on the roofs
But the gnome can’t sleep

Comes from the barn, stops in a snowdrift
In front of the grey door
In his old manner
Towards the moonlit heaven
Looks at the forest, where there are pines
As the mansion’s protection from the wind
Considered hundreds of directions
Always with troubles

The forest is silent, under ice
All life rests
The rapids foaming alone
Guarantee the hum of the forest
The gnome half-asleep
The stream of time moves on
Ponders where it will go
Where its source might be

It’s a frosty night, and flames
Flash glows to the north
People of the quiet mansion
Haul through their morning dreams
The moon is silently lowering
White snow is on the trees
Snow is on the roofs
But the gnome can’t sleep

I AM thankful there's no snow

These ought to give you some cheer.

If flashing lights bother you, avoid this one.

I love the woman's reaction in this.

Crank up the volume to 11 and break off the knob. It's time to give the neighbors fits!

I love them too! The most incredibly beautiful expression of nature! I have been lucky enough to see all colors of the rainbow in the aurora. Here the Inupiat people sing to them to make them dance.

I love the song. The lyrics are great. Winter has a special something to it in the deep north, the woods do really hum. We went ice fishing last Sunday and the lake looked like it had glitter of every color thrown across it. The sun was shining and the air is healing almost, as long as you are bundled up for it. It was 5 degrees F out.

Now hopefully mama moose continues to cooperate. I convinced her to move on, or the hay is finished off, hahaha. Hugs to you too! Best wishes for everything to work out for you!

First off ... may you all avoid Christmas Chaos!

And then,
my favorite version of A Christmas Song. Never heard a rendition that beats Karen Carpenter's voice with it, and it says "Christmas" to me every year.

And now for what is maybe the worst rendition of a Christmas song
. It has become a family joke, so I thought I'd share. I think they could have used it as an enhanced interrogation technique.

And finally, we need a little Carol of the Bells going on in here.

Greensleeves.

I know it's not a christmas song per se, but to me it's just not christmas without hearing at least one or more versions of it playing in the background while decorating the tree...

Here's a group of kids on cello from the Czech Republic:

And in keeping with the same mood, here's another fav christmas-y song of mine from Loreena McKennitt called "Snow":
