I never said anything about Obama taking guns. The news story from the ap that I posted says that the sitting president of the united states by executive order wants to restrict peoples rights.

Well I don't know what it means by expanded but I would think it would mean more background information would be needed in order to buy a gun.

I dont see how this is a problem. You have mass shootings happening all the time , why wouldn't every American want stricter laws and extensive background checks? As far as I can tell, noone is saying you can't have your guns, just that it shouldn't be so easy for [crazy] people to get their hands on them.

It hasn't? We have "laws" in this country that compel you to work 20 hours a week, just to comply with. You're right though, it doesn't happen "all the time". It happens over years. How about you educating yourself before you're busting rocks and have no idea how you got there....
