Just finished watching his morning talk with Joe Scarborough and thought it might be worth posting.

Summary: If elected will indefinitely ban Muslims, send 10,000 troops into Syria, steal the oil and split the profit with war vets.

Is he not going to be lured by the Big Oil fields in the field Middle east? What sort of Foreign Policies can we expect from a guy like trump?

Hopefully, Trump may have a different plan regarding the middle East and hopefully he will make America not dependent on foreign oil any longer.

The United States has Billions of barrels of oil caped off in the gulf already. This I know for a fact, I worked in the oil fields for over 5 years back in the 1980's and never went to the same oil rigs.

The United Stated has enough oil to run this country for over a hundred years. If Trump turns in this direction the middle East wars will end for us. I am sure the Joint Chief of Staffs are going to have a big problem with this.

And that's part of the problem. Just have a look at developing democratic countries in the ME, or countries being cited for democracy; not a pretty picture.

Are Hispanics that came here legally(the ones that can vote) really that upset over Trumps comments? He was talking about the illegal immigrants, not the legal ones. I think you would be surprised how many Hispanics support Trump.

Same thing goes for the black population. A lot of these minorities see Trump as a person that will give them a better chance at a job/good job.

Beyond that, the media is using its tactic of ridicule to make people who might support Trump feel embarrassed to have that view. The great thing about the voting process is that it is private, so I think the actual numbers for Trump will be much higher than forecast on election day if he makes it that far.

No, no, no. I am not repeating anything from the MSM. You aren't going to find my opinion in the MSM -- it implicates both parties because they are in cahoots.

I have to assume you haven't been exposing yourself to diverse 'news' sources. I do -- painful as it may be sometimes. Sure, I can see the Trump lovefest on the right, but on the left -- where most of the 'news' aligns -- it has been a non-stop decrying of Trump by hispanic and black voters using the usual tactics of celebrity opinion. That's what Fabian socialists do and we have a global elite that are Fabian socialists.

I'm an unaffiliated voter and loathe both parties equally. So, I have basically just observed this election season, thus far. Trump has utterly failed to bring important voting blocs into the fold -- and he needs to.

Sure, some black and hispanic voters will cast a vote for him 'privately,' but you are putting far too much faith in that, IMO. Trump needs Florida and he won't win there.

I've known Trump is a provocateur and political operative for years. His entire campaign has confirmed what I already knew to be true. What he is doing now is much like what he and Ventura pulled with the Reform Party, in 2000.

I just think it's high time Trump supporters prepare themselves for the GOP to disassociate from him and ask him to leave the party -- lest he 'soil' their party values. It's coming. And when he does leave the party, he will run as an independent/third party and hand the victory to democrats.

But, even then, I doubt his supporters will figure out that he is a phony.

His past support of universal healthcare hasn't clued them in. His past policy of taxing the wealthiest so high that they pay off the national debt in one year hasn't clued them in. His lifelong pro-choice stance hasn't clued them in. His friendship with the Clintons hasn't clued them in. Changing parties 7 times in 15 years hasn't clued them in. His extreme divisive rhetoric hasn't clued them in.

So, maybe nothing will.

But, Trump is a political operative.

If people don't stop tyranny then we will live under tyranny, true.

The real kicker for me: when was the last time a President really cashed any of the metaphorical checks they wrote to get elected? Why would Trump be any different?

They have cashed a few, but the difference with Trump IMO is he has consistently made false promises and claims. He isn't pandering he is straight up lying.

When someone consistently lies to me I feel they are insulting my intelligence by expecting me to believe it.

It isn't just Trump either. Just the other day Ted Cruz went on a show and claimed he could go around Roe vs Wade and abolish abortion by classifying fertilized eggs as personhood.

He went to law school so I have no doubt that he knows he couldn't do it. So that was a bold faced lie to the public.


With Trump I don't believe he means anything he says. I believe he is intelligent enough to know what he could actually accomplish if elected and intelligent enough to know e is making false promises.

What does that leave? IMO that means he believes the public is stupid enough to believe him.
