Does apple pie and HP brown sauce sound appetizing?.
I just tried it and it was bloody lovely.

Ive also wonderd what peanut butter and jelly is.
A lot of american tv Ive seen, mentions it quite often.

As a child I used to think the Jelly was that white stuff sorrounding the tin of spam,
but a quick search said that its jelly grape.(is that correct) and americans also have jam with it.
I may have to give it a try......

Oh yeh, are twinkies really that nice?
I only ask because of zombieland and woody trying to find one all through the film.

PB n J, mainstay of my youth.

Any jellied fruit or jam with peanut 'butter' between sandwich bread.

Jelly is like jam only no fruit chunks, just sugary fruit glop.
What the hell is HP brown sauce?

Twinkies are of the devil. Even with the weird cream filling, they still manage to be dry enough to choke a person without drink in hand.

Wrong, on so many levels.

Jelly is fruit boiled down with sugar until it's thick and spreadable, and peanut butter is simply peanuts ground up until smooth.
spread together on bread it makes for a cheap easy sandwich. Tasty comfort food for kids.
Twinkles are an oddity unto themselves. They are tasty I suppose but almost an unnatural texture due to the massive amount of preservatives used in them.

What is HP brown sauce, I'm curious now too?

HP Sauce is a brown sauce originally produced by HP Foods in the United Kingdom, now produced by the H. J. Heinz Company in the Netherlands. It is named for the Houses of Parliament. It was the best-selling brand of brown sauce in the UK in 2005, with 73.8% of the retail market. HP Sauce has a malt vinegar base, blended with tomato, dates, tamarind extract, sweetener and spices. It usually is used as a condiment with hot or cold savoury food, or as an ingredient in soups or stews

I understand what your saying.
Scones with little butter go down the throat ever so slowly.
I might try them with brown sauce.

Actually, jam is like jelly. You don't usually have jelly with jam; peanut butter, yes, but not jam. It is almost the same thing, after all.
A funny story:
My sister saw a thing on facebook about making gummy bears (I'm not sure what you call them where you are). It said to use jelly and she complained that it didn't work. I looked at the wording on the OP and saw that it was British. I told her to use gelatin, like Jello because it's called jelly in the UK. I bet she facepalmed lol.
ETA: All this talk about food is making hungry. I'm getting out of here lol.

Apple pie filling and ground itallian sausage and cheddar cheese.

Sounds weird, but you brown the ground up itallian sausage, mix it with apple pie filling and put it in a baking dish. Then you sprinkle cheese on top and bake.

I guess the sweet/savory/salty flavors all combine together and make something good.

I haven't tried it...

Oh, and I saw HP Sauce at the store in the "international food" section. They wanted like $15 USD for ONE bottle. I said no thanks.

Christ.

If the Germans had managed to invade the Home Isles during World War II all you would have needed to do was make them dinner. They would have fled back across the channel immediately.

ketchup on steak is vile, let alone on pie, but a1 sauce?

hearty vomits a head.

Actually the worse ever, I watched a hostess eat A1 sauce on salmon... I had to actually ask her wtf, I even took a pic, but that phone was a potato(motorola clique?) and that was forever ago.

Yeah, that too. Good steak is too tasty to adulterate with gloopy, massed-produced sauce.
