This was actually quite a difficult task to achieve. I have a lot of quotes that are very inspirational and defining for my personal beliefs/positions/self identification. I apologize if any of these offend anyone, just here expressing myself. I encourage you all to do the same and post some quotes (or even write your own) that define you and your thoughts.

I hope you enjoyed them. Again, I’d love to see which quotes you feel represent you (any quote, no matter what it applies to [but nothing that is against the forum rules])

A mistake isn't a mistake if you learn from it. It is a learning experience.

My father told me that, It's probably been passed on for hundreds of years.

Many famous quotes by people are actually sayings that are old. They didn't really create them but we give them credit for them. Same with patents, the majority of patent holders are not the ones who thought of the idea.

This one ...

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

This teaches us that everything we learn from the teachings of Christ and from scripture, and everything we do in life; they all point back to these two things.

Another good one:
Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.

Both William F. Buckley

Both George Washington and related, and you will note Washington noted the trouble with an overgrown military-industrial complex long before Eisenhower.

Winston Churchill, and I could quote him all day, he has so many.

And one of my hands-down all-time favs from Patton that nicely illustrates why places like this are so very important and why the 1st Amendment is likewise so very important and why the little crybullies on our campuses are so misguided.
