During the renovation of our old house we came across a ton of newspapers from 1955 hidden in the walls. I came across this gem, which will delight Cold War enthusiasts, US militant power advocates and critics alike, and anyone who enjoys peering into vintage outlooks.

Load of nonsense really.

Both Britain and The U.S.S.R had atomic weapons in 1955. Hardly a one sided affair was it?
