If institutions can reform the word of humanity, it survives. That which cant, well.. The state fixes that..

The short version; From the beginning of life we condition our children in such a way that they are educated to live in the future , always thinking about tomorrow and never today. . . we give them a set of rules and guidelines which they must follow to win this so called ‘Game of Life’… And how do they win this game? Well by being successful, and how do we measure success? Usually by measuring wealth.

The problem is they realise too late that the whole game has been a hoax from the beginning … so why do we continue with this never ending cycle?

If I recall correctly, it was an old Hindu maxim that one spent the first third of one's life getting educated, the second third rearing a family and the last third developing spiritual awareness.

Balance is perhaps key....lock and load....and pray....

Don't ever give an addict a handful of money…

700 dollars is another installment in his demise. What a feel good for the church membership, though. They probably sang for hours after that.

It sure won't make him less addicted.

As the old saying goes "It is the thought that counts"

I am sure the generous "tip" from the church was not intended to fund the guy's former habit ... more a recognition of someone in their community who was trying to overcome a habit ...

Of course many struggle with habits and many return to their habits
But a few do kick their self destructive habits and go on to be great members of their society ...

Good luck to the guy ...
