That is true ,accidents usually happen because chain of events, not by single event itself , my viewpoint was purely mechanic the plane even with the crack was flyable until Murphys law stepped in
wrong procedures ,bad communication between pilots etc... I agree that the crack was the thing that put the "snowball" rolling
