I was driving down KY route 169 approaching Cemetery Lane around 09:00 PM EST in Woodford and Jessamine County Kentucky. Being as how its an extremely rural community, the community of Keene, I figured I might have heard a gunshot or two.

Coming across this article, I was astonished to find out that I might have heard a meteor bust through the atmosphere.

Possible Meteor Over Central Kentucky


The timing of it is perfect. It's such a rare phenomenon that I feel privileged to have heard what I believe to be this meteor over central Kentucky.
