I submit to the members of ATS for their skeptical analysis two
videos taken by my wifes phone. That literally dropped my jaw
when my wife first called this to my attention. But only after
knocking my own skeptical hat right off my head. Leaving me with
the highly unlikely conclusion we find in my heading. Of course
many of you will undoubtedly go away from this thread scouffing.

And that's perfect if you do, the skeptics and great analyzers are
why I'm here. but I really have no other way of explaining this.
My wifes phone ( in video mode ) recording or not, randomly,
( meaning only at certain times ) day or night, doesn't matter.
Seems to be recording what at first glance, will look like nats or
bugs. Some might even say rods.

But as I observed this odd phenomena, there's simply nothing
there. Unless you are viewing thru my wifes phone only,
( held my phone and hers up together and only her phone was
picking up on this ) on view or record. And the one shot during
the day is from a completely different location. The little boy
lives there where my wifes friend resides. Anyway I'm anxious
to post and welcome your skepticism and analysis. Haven't
fabricated any part of this post or anything having to do with
this post in anyway.

So I can't keep anyone from scouffing but at least be
able to debunk what's going on here if you want to scouff?
Again this only goes on it seems according to the presence
of what ever is " flying around " as the wife puts it.
J Just watch and i'll answer any questions?

Be sure to use full screen.

Why not upload the video from the phone so we can see it?
If you can't do that I don't really see how anyone can assist you.
*Edit* Sorry, didn't notice the link, I'll have a look now

*Edit again*
All I see is a very poor quality grainy video with typical distortions from low res.
How many Mpixels is your phone compared to your wife's? If yours is higher and you don't see the 'anomalies' then I'd say that's the answer.

Funny thing, my galaxy S2 has started doing something very similar lately. When I take a photo at night, when the pre-flash light comes on to focus, I get the same effect as your video...little lights like insects flying around in the viewfinder....

Did your wife end up giving your kid his bullets back?
He seems pissed off about not having them.

Looks like lint floating around or dust inside the casing just over the eye hole of the camera.

Or some kind of Chitula chimera

Your video. Looks like dust swirling about, or even a midge or two. People only think their house spotless when it's anything but.

I watched the first vid and wasn't going to watch the second, read your post, rewatched the first vid to see if I missed something, and only then watched the second....

.....and lollollol, haven't had this good of a laugh in months. Laughing as I'm typing this. Some anti-gun group should pay you millions and run this as an ad, or it should be inserted in the middle of a major movie, maybe the actors dialoguing in front of a tv screen with this on in the background, and then during it they stop their discussion and turn to watch the rest of the video. Thanks to the OP and you for allowing me to watch the vid.

As for the floating things, insects or ghosts or witchy-watchies for all I know. And your boy, I discovered decades ago that tantrums are the result of dehydration. Not always, but in the majority of instances the tantrums stop within a couple of minutes or less from having adequate hydration with water (not pop, which would just rev him up more). OK, stopped lol, but smiling out loud now. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply and now you got me LMAO.
The boy in the dark vid is my wifes boy. But the
other little guy isn't. However, I did consider the
spirits or little light beings might be contemplating
him as a host.

Cool. Can you pass along to that child's parents/warden that the tantrum thing might be just dehydration. The kid, like most children of all ages from 9 days to 90 years, is likely dehydrated, and tantrums like this are one of the results. They can be stopped by just handing the kid a glass of water, which he'll push away at first drenching the offering person like he or she just stepped from a shower, fill up the glass again, offer it to him, and at some point he'll drink it and that tantrum comes to an end. Keep him hydrated from then on in and these will very possibly diminish in intensity, duration, and frequency. This tip brought to you by the Fans of Floaty White Things (FFWT).

oh, that's just the spirit of my nana saying 'I'll give you something to scream about'.
then the spanking would happen.

I'm from a whole different generation....

no really I thought it was cool, kind of sad to see it maybe debunked already.

Was it filmed with the camera light on?

It reminds me of underwater filming; when using a light on the camera it tends to illuminate small things on water (plancton and such) and often looks like snow, or the things we see here.

Thats why professionial underwater cameras have these huge rigs, so the lamp shines at a 45degree angle and does not reflect.

So with a camera light on it could be dust, dandruffs or anything in the air.

And for the laughs: your lil one is not helping against the stereotype of gun crazy americans :-)

I have a galaxy core prime and have noticed that that same thing happens if the light is on when filming. It stops when the light is off. The funny thing is that to turn the light off you have to go into the regular camera settings and turn off the flash. No option for the light in video mode. Try this and see if it still happens.

I know for a fact the light was off. And the odd thing to me is,
it seems as if the floaters have to be present cause this doesn't
always happen everytime she fires up the camera. I'm positive
there'll be more to come.

Come to think of it the phone might be possessed. All galaxy core prime phones might be. Mine called 911 on Monday while sitting on my work station. It randomly turns itself on. Maybe this is a start of the machines rebelling against us. Or maybe the start of Armageddon. I'm pretty sure there is a post somewhere saying the world would end this month.

I hope you find a non paranormal answer to what's going on with the phone.
