Why not? A "whites only" space is racist and a "blacks only" space is.....what? A place for "healing"? How is it "healing" when the idea is just as racist as the "whites only"? I'd love to see the background of some of the loudest protesters at Yale, Dartmouth and U of M. Are they pampered little middle class kids or have they actually experienced the oppression they protest against? Those screaming at whites about their "privilege" while they're attending a $50,000 to $65,000 a year day care center. Which is apparently what colleges are now. Whine loud enough and you get the biggest pacifier.

Ya there are some really ignorant people out there and the whites that do this have a tendency to have 100% failure in life to start with, true looser in every way.

But then it seems we continue to not address the black on black, black on everyone else crimes that happen daily. 16 black people shot in a park by other blacks, 8 blacks dead and 45 wounded with guns in Chicago alone this last weekend all black on black, Young white student shot in the stomach and then the black shooter pulled the trigger execution style that failed a number of times. What is it that we really need to address here, I'm not sure....

I think we all need to take a step back so the facts can be revealed then there can be a factual discussion of what happened without the labels.

I'd also like to point out when African Americans shoot a white person they are never labeled as Black Supremacists.

I know. The black thugs that raped and killed the preachers wife that's been in the news were only referred to as suspects on CNN, no color affiliation. They are black, but you'd never know from MSM reports. They always seem to drag their feet when a perp is black or Muslim, but quick to automatically assign a label when a perp is white. You rarely hear a color described in a police shooting if it's a white cop shooting a white or a black cop shooting a black or white, but the lib media trumpets when a white cop shoots a black.

Perhaps you should read back over the thread.

About 90% of the posts have a) questioned whether this was really a "peaceful protest" b) made general comments about the racism of BLM c) tossed in various red herring and strawmen as needed to attempt to diminish the fact that masked individuals opened fire on other individuals in America wounding five of them.

That's of course in distinction to the several posts that just say "well, they deserved it."

No, they weren't. I've seen videos and read other reports. The white people that got near them were asked to take off their masks. When they didn't, BLM started assaulting them, and it was only when a group of BLM protesters started chasing them after they started running from the assault that shots were fired.

I've even seen reports that the "white supremacists" even originally had signage that was supportive of BLM. A movement that started as a reasonable protest group talking about police corruption and violence has turned into a hate group.

Why don't you post the video you're referring to? Or the sources? Or any evidence?

Or not (I'll just shorten the way here and guess not).

One question for you and then I'll move on: Do you believe that an armed masked group was there to help out with the protest, or, as seems obvious to any reasonable view, were they there to intimidate the BLM folks and instigate trouble?

How does one get that label yet blm is not considered black supremacist?

I have seen waay more racial offences made by blacks lately than whites.

1. The men were masked.
2. It was dark outside.

You have no proof whatsoever that this was done by people that are white supremacists, or even white.

Just saw a video claiming to show one of the perpetrators get into the back of a state trooper vehicle while leaving the scene. Not sure if that is what the video shows as it only shows a masked person(s) get into the back of an unmarked police vehicle and there is an officer in the front seat. The video shows them just sitting there as people film. I am not sure what to make of it and can not figure out how to embed the video. It comes from a biased source so make of it what you will.

Well... while I support the moderate balanced elements of BLM that don't scream at a girls in a library and then state "f*** your white tears," and I condemn such actions wholeheartedly .................................. at least they didn't shoot at people like the white supremacists did. So, if the shooters weren't "white supremacist" that makes it okay for them to stand around in ski-masks (usually considered a threat, always considered illegal in MN) and then start shooting the BLM protesters?

Forget your stance on the race issues for a second: is that right or is it wrong? Did the BLM protesters ask these individuals to remove their masks? Did anyone shoot at the masked group and were they "returning fire"?

That's the issue the OP is addressing.
