I don't know if this should be Fragile Earth or Political Madness...but here's some fun news, nonetheless.

Apparently, blaming Climate Change for ALL of our current problems including dictators and terrorism...goes back quite a long time.
Kerry, Sanders, et al...are adopting well-worn political tactics from the past, in order to promote their 'Climate Change' agenda, as well as to explain the rise of ISIS as having little to do with anyone in office.

The rise of Hitler, Mussollini,...and many other evil dictators and fascist regimes from the past, have been blamed on Global Warming...long before ISIS.

'It's The Climate, Stupid!'

John Kerry says that global warming at 400 PPM CO2 produced drought and ISIS. This is a familiar theme, because in 1941 experts said that global warming at 310 PPM CO2 produced Hitler.

In 1974, the CIA said that global cooling at 330 PPM CO2 caused drought and political instability.

CLIPPING: trove.nla.gov.au...

The chart below sums this up.

1.) Global warming heat at 310 PPM CO2, and global cooling cold at 330 PPM CO2, occur at the same temperature.
2.) The symptoms of global warming and global cooling are identical.
3.)Global warming used to be cold, but now global warming is hot.
4.)Brutality has nothing to do with the level of CO2 in the atmosphere.
5.)Climatologists are complete morons who understand absolutely nothing about, science, history or logic.

I would file it under ramblings. News clippings from 1940s and 1970s doesn't make good science or politics for today's world.

Well it is amusing, a little bit.
If you look it up there seem to have been a cooling from 1940-1970.
What's your point in mixing these two statements?
Droughts mean less agricultural work, less money. I can see this is sthg that has driven a few to become mercenaries.

Thats ridiculous. I'm currently reading the Rise and Fall of The Third Reich again, only a hundred or so pages in, the rise of Hitler began after the first ww ended. He gained control of a small party, fought to build its ranks, fomented insurrection in the early 20's (known as the Beer Hall Putsch), was tried, inprisoned and made famous by that, long before some change in the weather.

His continued rise resulted from his own genius and ambition. sealed and thrust to the pinnacle by the Wall Street Crash in 1929. Hitler rose from minor notoriety to fame securing power from Chancelor Hindenburg in 1933, then declared himself supreme ruler.

The period leading to war from 1933 to 1939 was a period of armaments building and forming, training armies. The war began in 1939 with Germany's aggressive military invasion of Poland.

All this happened long before 1941.

Gads, climate people have gone off the deep end with this one.

But hey, why bother with history, just say some s*** and dump the books in the fire.

Maybe we can see murder trials with a defense of climate change in the future. I mean, people can't possibly be responsible for their own actions, right?

According to the ATS experts, it's twoo! it's twoo! (say that in Lilly Von Schtook voice)

Yes, Climate change is the reason for any and all bad things happening today, or yesterday.

Kerry is meddlesome and ambitious. People like him, McCain and Hitlary will get everyone killed.

Bull Frog mouthpieces of the warmongers and wealthy elite.

1. There was already a thread on this Sanders comment.

2. Sanders was not wrong.

3. The fight for resources causes most if not all wars , so it logically follows that something like climate change, which affects resources on a local or global level, contributes to civil unrest and war

Half the mess in Syria started because of a drought rhat caused hardship the government ignored.

Phooey. Four years of Clandestine Insurgency and thousands of bombs dropped on Syrian towns changed Syria's "climate".

Who wants to live where tons of bombs and terrorists are 'going off'?
