Your right.

The broom stick thing could well be a myth .

There is no physical evidence that this happened only speculation.

Although if woman where inserting an '___' like substances into there vaginas , without any understanding of how these things work, then the results could seem very magical.

> There's tales of witches flying--without broomsticks--all around the world

I find this an interesting aspect of the subject.

Why do different cultures all around the world come up with similar folklore tales despite having no contact with one another.

Is it something in the collective human psyche.

Do they actually have encounters with these witches.

> I am friends with a Wiccan priestess--and she has the ability to do things and I have seen her do it.

I wonder how much of the ancient ritualistic form of witchcraft is present in modern Wiccan.

In the case of the Cornish cauldrons, that is suspected to date back 8,500 years.

Is it possible for any of these spells and rituals to have survived that length of time.

> Today, there are many witches. It's a more popular belief system than most know.

I suppose its no different from any other religion.

Christianity or Muslim or whatever

Each is as valid as the other.

> The witches would perform a ritual in the middle of freshly planted fields, by straddling the broom, and jumping to encourage the crops growth, higher and higher.

I have never came across this version of the myth, thanx for sharing it.

If people believe in witchcraft, there will be witches.

Whilst i was researching this thread i came across accusations of sexual activity that took place between witches and there familiars.

This brought to mind certain scandalous and unfounded rumors about the wife of the famous magician and leading member of the British secret society known as the magic circle.

I wont repeat the urban legend here as i dont think the internet is any sort of place for this type of disgusting allegation.

In fact i am disgusted that the Google search term Debbie Mcgee urban legend returns any sort of information on these lies.

I believe people need to be protected from such mind warping falsehoods at any cost and therefore would urge anyone reading this to never type into google any combination of the words Debbie Mcgee ,Polaroid picture or Alsatian dog.

That said i find it syncrinistic that her name has been brought up in thread regarding witch craft.

What you describe is similar to the Tupla effect

en.wikipedia.org...

Remember those girls who killed a girl because of Slender man.

www.nbcnews.com...

If you believe in something enough it can manifest, at least in some form.

It all boils down to divination.

When a person does divination via talking with the 'dead', jinn, daemons etc they are taking away power and authority from the evil Annunaki, who dish out world order via their reptilian hybrids (the elite) 24/7.

Look at the evil Pope with his Agenda 2030 mass culling. Looks like Annunaki leader Enlil (Yahweh) is going to get his second mass murder whilst his brother Enki (Lucifer) launches world war 3 against humans.

Nothing so esoteric. It's just that belief is infectious.

If many people in a community believe in witches, somebody in that community may come to believe that she is a witch.
