I am sick to death of religon! Yes, of course these terrorist attacks have had something to do with that, but seriously , I wish it would just go away.

No matter how peaceful a religon is, we will always find a way to make it brutal.

And the hard part for me is, I know all religon is bs fairytales with no truth in them at all. And so many people are losing their lives over something that is purely man made.

The sad fact is, we will always have religon. And while we have religon, we will have terrorism, murder, torture etc etc

Sorry if I offend and religious people here, but its just how I feel.

Here's your typical list of abuses the Saudis are accused of. I picked it out because Amnesty International are more neutral than other sites on the same topic.

No I`m blaming Islam and their religion for rules and laws that make people like this.

I`m not going to go around in circles on this. ( guns don`t kill people, people kill people circular argument) put a gun in the hand of a person of a religion that condemns death sentences for insulting their false prophet and there is going to be a lot of dead people.

I couldn't agree more.
So often it becomes a vehicle for psychopathic murderers to claim that their actions are 'right' and 'God-willed'.

And so many people are losing their lives over something that is purely man made.

That is the bitterest pill to swallow if you stand outside of religion and look in as an outsider. It becomes very difficult to understand how people can become so entrenched in their own viewpoint that they choose not to look through an another's eyes. They would prefer to kill and maim than to consider that they might be wrong. What a tragic waste of life.

Yes I know and its horrific, I won`t link to what I`ve seen done in other places, and text and words will never describe the horrific acts done.

I live in Brighton UK. We have a huge gay community here in Brighton. A perfect place for these animals.

So, for the first time, I am worried about going out with my wife and four year old daughter .

It's horrible that I feel this way, but I am scared for my family.

Only a matter of time that there will be a UK attack.

If weren't all in bed together, I'd love to see an international boycott on the scale of the South African one. Religious rhetoric and entrenched views are incredibly flexible under pressures of money. They'd become more tolerant pretty quickly if the rest of the world just froze assets and refused all trade with them.

They aren't the only guys selling petrol.

The Amnesty International page is pretty appalling. I hadn't realised that AI weren't allowed in to the country.
My sister was offered a job in Saudi - she refused point blank to go, which I have to say I was glad about. She wouldn't last long there!

I'm not really disagreeing with you. I just don't follow to the end of your thought train, if that makes any sense, at all.

There are cruel, savage people out there who are using Islam to further their goals. On that we're agreed. We're also agreed that they need stopping. ...and the House of Saud is part and partial to that.

We're not so far apart, really.

It is horrible to feel that way, but we can't live in fear. There is nothing wrong with being cautious but don't let any religious nutbags deny your daughter a normal, happy childhood enjoying the parks and wonderful sea air.

Brighton seems to have a strong, vibrant community. I hope it stays that way and stays safe.

Yeah, probably wise to avoid all nations that go too far on the human rights abuses. It even puts me off going to Russia with the well-known police corruption and potentially having to pay random bribes. Your sister would be at greater risk being western and female over there.

I'm getting parochial in my old age and only want to visit safe places : )

A high degree of racial hypercritical attitudes can be found around the world. You can get away with anything just as long as your not of European descent . If your of European descent you will be held responsible rightfully or wrongfully for an number of social or economic problems. If your of any other heritage you can commit human rights abuses or be a tin pot dictator like Mugabe and nobody will complain.

The ball that is events in the Middle East region is slowly moving and with it goes the map of the Middle East that has existed since the end of WW1 and the creation of the modern day state of Israel.

She figured that since she hates beards and can't abide men telling her what to do, she'd be wiser to avoid it.
Parochial travel is not to be sniffed at - I'll be venturing to Oban later in the year!

I've only ever passed through Russia and after the airport security blokes held a machine gun to my friend's chest whilst they disputed her passport, I've vowed never to return. It kinda put me off.

We need to stay allies, so we can excerpt some influence over them.

That appears to be the mantra from my Government. Although the selling of arms to the Kingdom remains up there with the reason we continue to be allies.

Correction we have to stay allies because we are being BLACKMAILED by these barbarians.

Just look how a UK minsiter Hysetricaly covers for Saudi Arabia!

I know seagull, I know you do and would condemn these acts and that we are not far apart on that particular point.

But we are where the rubber meets the road, not being aggressive here in saying that.

This is directed at Mohamad and his religion which sprang up 600 odd years after Christ, but it also applies to anyone, Church's included though I don`t see these types of extreme atrocities done and enforced which is done under Islam, but false teaching is bad enough.

1 John 2:22

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
www.biblegateway.com...

Their god Allah is NOT the God of the Bible that they love to pretend or say it is, so many Muslims or Ishamaelites have been misled. So I`m totally against Islam in all its forms.

Christian beliefs vs Islam

It's because of the contents of the poems. Atheism is punishable by death.
Stoning woman, whipping old men for drinking alcohol on and on. In this case this happens all over the Muslim world not just a few bad interpretations by zealots.

I wonder ....what would happen if we invited all the saudis to a party.(the leadership) and made sure they all attended, then arrested them all. walked into Saudi arabia, and declare it annexxed by the US for humanitarian reasons then gave a equal part of arabia to each permanent UN member to run as they see fit what would happen?

Of all the Arab countries that they have destabilized the only one deserving of it is Saudi Arabia and the world would have been saved from all this terrorism

Saudi Arabia and their Wahhabism is the foulest thing on the earth presently.

Why the US sucks up to them is because they essentially bribe the US.

The US is their business partner….These are Dick Cheney's friends

They complain about Assad and their ally does this…what a joke.

If anything should be overthrown it’s the Saudi monarchy.

A boycott should be initiated
