He sounds like Bill O'Reilly calling out Jon Stewart.

Absurd much?

I really feel sorry for you Americans with functional cerebral cortices, knowing that this guy is someone people will actually vote for (though hopefully not too many) must be absolutely infuriating.

It pisses me off, and I live in a different country.

How long has this guy been in office for?

Then Obama goes overseas yet again and insults us, especially his political opponents and hyperbolically rants about the "fear of 3-yr. olds". I guarantee he won't come home and stand in front of his opponents and insult them to their faces.

Why would he not?

They DO have an irrational fear of widows and orphans and 3-year-olds and ......

Ted Cruz is a right-wing, Bible-thumping, neo-conservative lunatic who's opinion isn't worthy of the brain cells used to entertain it.

or the oxygen required to fuel it.

The man is a vacuous dullard, and if I met him in public, I would not just say it to his face, I would render him unconscious and tattoo the words on his forehead, so that he could remember them whilst having his morning shave.

Sweet!!!

Are you selling tickets yet?? I'd pay, big time, to see that, Brit.

I'm not an Obama fan but for the love of friggin' Pete. Of all the testosterone-soaked-idiotic-chest-thumping-monkey-brained posturing... I mean really, he can wrap it up in political rhetoric and an affected measured tone all he wants to but it's just a dressy version of something you'd see on a playground. Manipulative and simple and people are going to fall for it.

"Nu'uh! C'mere and say that!"

Good lord.

Hey, Man...

So - do you plan to vote for Cruz? (In the event he is the nominee, that is).

Wow. Just... Wow.
Somebody actually supports this twat?
Wow.

Wait - you are referring to Cruz as "this twat", right?

Just checking. So I know whether to agree with you or not.....

Yeah, just finished watching it.
He says, "I'm sure any TV station would want to host it."....

I was thinking, hmmm. well, maybe Comedy Central. or HBO, right after John Oliver's show.

(In my head: Linda Burger "we're goin to a rumble" clicking her fingers and dance-stepping from Bob's Burgers across the street to feud with the Italian-restaurant guy)

Hey lil miss!

Depends on who is 3rd party. I really want Paul

Okay, good to know. I'd go for Paul if it was him vs Hillary.

But - any of the rest of them? No....just no.

I don't want Hillary either - I want Sanders.
Paul would be my back-up choice.

Hey lil miss!

And - sort of totally off-topic, but just wanted you to know, I don't take offense to 'lil miss' coming from you. I know you fairly well enough to know that you mean it affectionately.... and I find it charming, actually.

I do take offense when people like door-to-door contractors or auto mechaniccs say "lil lady", though.......

anyway, cheers, my friend!

I think 75% of this page's posts are going to exclusively be from you, Buzzy.

I am glad to see someone else want Sanders to win (and he will. If the system isn't truly and utterly rigged, he will.)
As someone who didn't grow up with the indoctrination, it boggles my mind that anyone wouldn't want to vote for him.

My dear lady,

I would not charge for such a service. Catharsis, a chance to act in defense of science and its interests, and the opportunity to crush the spirit of a man undeserving of his power? Who would ask to be paid to engage in such a thing?

You, good sir, are a brave man, and noble, whose acquaintance I am honored to have made.
You should add "in shining armor" to your user subtitle......

I would really like to see a mass exodus of power from the people who don't deserve it (all but three or four people by my count) to those who would actually use it to further humans as a species rather than line their pockets.

In particular, I'd like to see a big cut in the US's military budget, with the money put towards something useful. Like science. Science is usually useful, right, guys? Nah, who needs a Government department for that thing if it's not developing weapons.

Also, this.

What.
