I'm mostly interested in science and tech and information, and as such find global media rather... lacking.

Hope I'll be able to bring something new to the table.

Interesting name!

Your writing doesn't seem to "fit" the name, you seem to relate to ( not really "to" but, about) the person's feelings in the story quite well.

I certainly hope it was fiction!

Thank you. I find explaining others' emotions much easier than my own. I enjoy language, and while I relate to my name it isn't something I would prescribe to. But it's meant to make people think, even look up the word if they have to.

The story is fiction, though it draws from multiple true stories and is sort of my way of speaking for those who can't. Not everyone gets a happy ending, but those are the only ones you generally hear, because only after they are removed from the abusive situation do they feel they can open up. Even then, women (or men) don't always feel safe enough to speak up.

Hello Alexithymia,

I too am a new member and doing my best not to get into too much trouble. I have very strong opinions, and after many years of creeping and biting my dang tongue I decided to join up and see if I can't be a contributing member to the community.

I go against the grain of the majority in the conspiracy community, I love conspiracy theories but fear not I will be a rambunctious adversary for many here.
