I guess that would be the man wearing a coat in summer and carrying a gun . Oh and walking with purpose . And jaywalking , and a thousand yard stare . Wait that's American profiling the last bit .

This is great news I've always frowned on negotiating with hostage takers. If you have taken it to the level of taking hostages the quicker your brain in removed from your body the better.

There is no such law. The OP is in error.

I can't see how there could even be such a law. How would that work? "Shoot him, or go to prison!" Do they write that sort of law in Oz?
