I know what I heard and I found other news articles that repeated it. I believe there is an effort to hide that particular part of the reporting now.

Now one article says they shouted, "...slogans condemning France's role in Syria" but does not elaborate on what was actually said. Shouting slogans condemning France's role in Syria seems like a lot of work to do while gunning down hundreds of innocent victims.

There have been numerous threads and quotes here at ATS already about news agencies not reporting the whole story on violence by islamist's, especially the recent rash of immigrants in Europe. I don't think we are getting the whole story here.

I think the reason this has not happened in America more frequently than it has is not because the radicals are afraid they will be stopped in the act of terrorism by armed citizens. Rather, if an attack of this magnitude took place in the U.S., the armed citizenry would eliminate said group with or without government support. This is probably inevitable. The American tradition of protecting life, liberty and property runs very deep. An attack such as this strikes against the very heart of what America is. As a result, America will show the world exactly what that means if it is forced to do so. Hopefully it never comes to that.

Watch the vid or not, but at least watch some vids of the atrocities still being done in Islamic countries, to either gays Christians women of their faith or not, they are out there to see yourself and no I will not link them.

I`ve seen recently vids of the torture done on a little boy said to have stole something and they held out his arm and rolled a truck over it, I`ve seen Christians, three per cross hanging dead crucified etc etc etc all done by Islam.

There are first hand witnesses to this ISIS having 200 children lay face down and spray them all with bullets, there are witnesses from American soldiers who were told to turn a blind eye to the sexual assaults on young boys done by the Islamic allies to America.

There is a quote in the Quran that Mohamad was sucking the tongue of a boy, and that he would wear the garments of his youngest wife. He said that Allah granted him the gift of the sexual drive of 40 men.

I know who I call Lord and why and no one else and when Christ shed his innocent blood for us all, He said forgive them Father for they know not what they do.

Competition between the two pfft, there is no justification for murder or any of these attrocities, my natural instincts would be to hunt these people down who do such things and end them myself, but that isn`t Christian and God has His plan.

I disagree it has anything to do with lots of guns in America, the fact that it hasn`t been worse than it has or could be is what is good, lets hope it doesn`t change either.

lets not derail the thread by discussing ISLAM versus Christianity ok. France has a massive amount of problems with its muslim population. Poor desperate people + (a malicious type of) Islam really is a bad combination. The same will happen with the millions of refugees. They will sadly become bottom of society, then be radicalised after they have failed to become succesfull. Not sure how this will be solved.

Poland has shut his borders after the massacre of Paris. I say we all should shut down the borders.

Before we know who and how many terrorists and what coordinated attacks are going to be in the near future..

Some will definitely protest against these actions the polish government has stated, but I think it could be a clear message to not f...k around with our solidarity.

Everyone should knock of the religious bit, no one 'religion' holds the high moral ground over the thousands of years of oppressive religious culture. There is good in the human soul, and good men know what's right and what's wrong, and they don't need a religion to tell them that.
As for last night, it was a tragedy acted on innocent men, women and children by terrorists from wherever they come nothing more nothing less, and exactly the same as happened in the country I live in, where thousands of innocents died, yet many of the terrorists are still living. These killings are deliberate acts, they always are. R.I.P. to all those who have died.
I can only hope Francois Hollande will take a firm but fair hand to protect his country and borders. He is a Socialist, but is said to be hawkish on foreign policy.

Sorry, but sounds like a lot of BS to me.

1.) Who do you know who the terrorists are? They simply blend into their own communities. Just like your school shooters blend in. Unless you have a task Force, you will never know, and even then you might not.

2.) The USA is on the otherside of the World. It is a lot easier smuggle things in from the Meditarranean (to france) from the Middle east. A hell of a lot easier.

3.) You can own a hand gun in France. Just not fully automatic.

4.) The French stick together A LOT more than Americans. They have proper communities that are alway on strike. The work on average 15 hours less a week than Americans for a reason. Because they stick together and get PAID. If this was a problem they'd be one of the first to do such acts. But such thoughts are in cloud cukoo land. Not going to happen.
