Ex-CIA director: White House ignored months of warnings about 9/11 to avoid leaving ‘paper trail’ of culpability
Source: Raw Story; Tom Boggioni 13 Nov 2015

In an explosive revelation during an interview with Politico, the former CIA director during President George W. Bush’s administration claims his department informed White house officials over impending Al Qaeda attacks months before the president received the infamous “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” presidential briefing.

According to ex-CIA head George Tenet and Cofer Black, then chief of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, they called an emergency meeting with National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice on July 10 of 2001 saying they had evidence that an attack on the U.S. was imminent and that it would be “spectacular.”

Beginning in May of 2001, Tenet and Black launched an initiative called “the Blue Sky paper” and pitched it to Bush’s national security team. The CIA called for a joint CIA and military campaign to end the Al Qaeda threat by “getting into the Afghan sanctuary, launching a paramilitary operation, creating a bridge with Uzbekistan.”

Original source: ‘The Attacks Will Be Spectacular’ - An exclusive look at how the Bush administration ignored this warning from the CIA months before 9/11, along with others that were far more detailed than previously revealed.

I think the Neocons were aware of the threat, but also recognized that any attack could be mitigated and provide the golden opportunity to put their PNAC scheme into play. You can't deny there was some form of collusion going on between the Pentagon and the Saudi backers of AQ to ensure 9/11 happened.

Until someone show that Bush knew when and by what method this is all meaningless.

What would you do if you get a report that group 'x' is going to attack the US and it will be big?
Please give us specifics of your plan.

doesn't say it was to avoid culpability. click bait on your part? this could show that not all of the CIA were evil and in on it . . . but waiting 10+ years to say anything is evil and also makes it doubtful. sudden change of heart?

I have no doubt that the global elite bloodlines took heed, and full advantage, of the warnings that the US government received regarding impending terrorist attacks prior to the events of September 11th, 2001.....

"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some
catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"

Of the twenty-five people who signed the PNAC's founding statement of principles, ten went on to serve in the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush, including Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz

Kristol and Kagan advocated regime change in Iraq throughout the Iraq disarmament crisis. Following perceived Iraqi unwillingness to co-operate with UN weapons inspections, core members of the PNAC including Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, R. James Woolsey, Elliot Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, Robert Zoellick, and John Bolton were among the signatories of an open letter initiated by the PNAC to President Bill Clinton calling for the removal of Saddam Hussein.

It is common knowledge that at least the Russians warned us of 1)Generally when and 2) By what means.

Avoiding leaving a paper trail is the least surprising of all of this.

if you read this article that ex cia director is realizing his legacy is shot as a false flagger so he is trying to say he warned Bush but Bush ignored it because of honest mistakes, he didn't think terrorism was that big a deal. boggioni lying and saying he did it to avoid culpability is to get clicks and he hopes no one actually reads what was said.

Russia also allegedly warned the USA about the boston marathon bombers. ignored then too but because the boston bombers were CIA assets . . .older brother was anyway.

This part,
"although Tenet brought up this meeting in his closed-door testimony before the 9/11 Commission, it was never mentioned in the committee’s final report."
That's pretty much all you need to know, that meeting was said at some stage to never have occurred. And Ms Rice's memory fails her in briefings. This has been discussed before, and Tenet knew much more than he has said. In the 9/11 commission proceedings there appears to have been a old pal's act between Bush and Tenet, that neither would spill the beans on the other on what they knew..it looks more and more that Tenet is distancing himself from Bush as time goes by, and he has the advantage, since [anything] he knew he had given up to the President, whereas all Bush could say was that he knew 'Nuttin' sort of.

I don't know about that one. I don't think that is enough of a reason to ignore something like that. There must be thousands of CIA 'assets'.

After reading the OP the first thing that came to mind was: proof positive of an inside job...

I immediately typed that in Google and look what turned up in the second result:

Tom Boggioni proof positive "inside job" - Google Search

former CIA official Ray McGovern has confirmed this directly in private, and indirectly in public by way of his ringing endorsement of David Ray Griffin’s work on 9/11.

Kevin Barrett: Ex-Bush Official Busts 9/11 Perps at U.W. Historical Society

Excellent account given by Kevin Barrett of the speech that Morgan Reynolds, former Bush aide and Professor Emeritus at Texas A&M, gave in Wisconsin regarding 9/11. Reynolds states that getting to the truth of 9/11 will make it possible for the nation to avoid further wars. Reynolds claims the proof is indisputable that 9/11 is an inside job.

Reynolds stated that everyone in the worldwide intelligence community knew that 9/11 was an inside job as soon as it happened, with the obvious stand-down of US air defenses, controlled demolition of the World Trade Center, and non-protection of the President in Florida being the biggest tip-offs. The head of the Russian equivalent of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the former head of the German intelligence service Andreas Von Bulow, former National Security Agency official Wayne Madsen, and former MI-6 agent David Schayler have all openly called 9/11 an inside job, while former CIA official Ray McGovern has confirmed this directly in private, and indirectly in public by way of his ringing endorsement of David Ray Griffin’s work on 9/11. Reynolds, who served as George W. Bush’s Labor Department Chief Economist in 2001-2002, believes that a 9/11 truth victory is looming on the near-term horizon.

He predicted that one or more of the 9/11 insiders will soon “give it up” and come forward with what they know, saying “Remember, you heard it here first.” He said that most of those complicit in the attacks did not realize how over-the-top the plot was, due to the need-to-know compartmentalization of such covert operations, and that some semi-complicit individuals will probably be coming forward.

This search turns up several videos of Morgan Reynolds BTW...

Below is just one:

Another search on YT using the name Kevin Barrett has good results as well...

What else does congress need to launch an independent investigation into 911? The amount of time and money spent on investigating 911 is nothing compared to the money being spent on Benghazi!! It sure seems like political witch hunting and posturing is more of a priority to congress than an attack on American soil that killed over 3,000 innocent civilians.

It seems obvious the G H Bush admin and his minions knew about the 911 strike. Their actions in the aftermath were VERY unlike Katrina, which clearly could not have had absolute max loss predictibility. Katrina was bungled, slapstick, and validation of the worst side of "the greatest country in the world". People died of thirst on their rooftops; people just stepped over the dead, leaving them on the street like one would leave a beer can. Huddled masses tucked in areas and reminiscent of 3rd world life.

But 911....they (the POTUS, etal) knew, I believe they planned it, and they paid someone, thru reciprocity, to execute the attack...or the illusion thereof. (I am not above thinking those planes were holographic via Project Blu Beam.)

But I will take to my grave the knowledge that the USA, MY country, willingly and knowingly committed 3,000+ innocent people (pawns to them) to their deaths.

Reuters, they informed the FBI, later they informed the CIA, but the second cable had a missplelling of the surname..or that it was entered wrongly into the database!

I don't know how much was spent on Benghazi, but the investigation on 9/11 was far less than the NIST investigation of WTC7.....that's the one that fell down funny, that most people supposedly didn't know about....so they say.

So if it is the info before 9-11 was useless or all bunk then the high dollar intelligence community is a bust.

No you do.

If it was the only threat yes I agree. If it was one of hundreds or possibly thousands you have to wait until it becomes more credible. We know from the UK that there are thousands of potential threats which clearly never unfold.

You also need to factor in US arrogance. I suspect that that is the reason why nobody did anything. Credible intell that shows that the two towers are going to be attacked by plane. Arrogance determines that it won't happen.

That look on Bush's face was a "Oh Sh.t it happened" look.
