So the main problem is our way of survival is too conveniently recreated, and marketed.. And we choose the less healthy way because we are distracted by everything around us rather than ourselves. Money may not be the issue, but the way we use the money morally. We give it TOO much power. But that doesnt mean we heave to get rid of it completely. It comes down to a moral issue when faced with the illusion of competition. The moral issue that someone is better because of how much you have in materials. The world is at war with each other and they dont know how to deal with their large dept issue. Who do they owe the money to? If money is just an illusion. We can change the world if all countries agreed to a new peace treaty, agreed to wipe all debt and start new in national trade. Then we could fix our inner countries debt rather than worry about world to world debt. It would mean more money could go to the right people. National dept wouldnt exist. The global debt would be set to 0.To help them live. A global change for how money works.

Let it serve the people and not the world?

I don't think it's a moral issue, I think it's an empathic issue, the lack of empathy we see nowadays is phenomenal, it's the age of self entitlement.

It's a global moral issue. Why not reset and at least agree on a currency this time around?

Maybe that's the plan....sounds like a pretty agreeable way to usher in a global currency

Only one little problem with that scenario...

Those in power don't want things fixed.

In fact, they want things DEAD.

God has a few cards up his sleeve though so hang tight.

If I had a dollar for every century people have been saying that. I'd have a lot of dollars.

Mergatroid....yes.....now this thread is a cool subject....
before I post that Scripture states God says who pays and who gets paid....
in this reality ... I can discern that some principality in a high place has an agenda to dole out to whom he wants.....meaning I'm curious about the affluence of some cultures ....sumthins up with that.....

to get any global organizing going....too " iffy " huh!

Well, there are numerous reasons why 'those in charge' would rather keep it that way but I suspect that one of the prevailing ones is probably because there are a LOT of sociopaths or worse, psychopaths who LIKE running things their way and to hell with anyone or anything that takes away their 'toys' almost like some spoiled rotten 2-years olds who want it ALL. I've watched a lot documentaries and I suspect that the 'truth', whatever it may be, IS out there somewhere. Here's an interesting take based upon the so-called 'need' by centralized, greedy f...ing bankers and their flunkies to own it ALL. How true is it? I don't honestly know but I DO know that I've heard of realistic, sensible solutions to sooo many of the challenges that face everyone and almost predictably, many that would take away the increasingly centralized control of just about everything seems to just...go away. Here's the video, let me know your 2 cents or more:

Because the majority of those with the singular power to change things have the empathy of a three year old and the forward planning of an amoeba, and the majority of those with the collective power to change things are too ignorant, too lazy, brainwashed, or all of the above.

Not to mention that it would require taking the money from all those in power. Its like asking you to just give up all your money and belongings and we will start over. I don't see it happening. It is the basic lie of socialism that everyone will be free and happy, when what always happens is the majority are brought down to poverty levels, the bourgeois have all the money, and it ends up with a massacre of large groups of people.

I don't claim to have the answers, but bottom line is if you think those in power are going to do it, let me know how that works out for you. It would require massive uprisings to get anything like that done with truly having a reset of everything.
Then, the big businesses and corporations wouldn't have the capital to make payroll, benefits, taxes, etc. So, we would have massive systemic problems. I think the too big to fail business was the most rotten BS I have seen yet. They absolutely have no shame with what they are willing to do. Iceland has the right idea. Prosecute the bankers and put them in prison. You might be surprised at how the reality of sitting in prison cures some of these sociopaths we have in control of things.

I think Bernie Sanders has the right idea with that "Democratic Socialism"/"Capitalist Socialism" style system. While theoretically we could all be living in a utopia at the moment, humans as a species are too greedy, selfish, or unaware to make that happen.

Pure capitalism inevitably fails. I like to imagine money as being akin particles in space affected by gravity, money attracts other money. Eventually reaching critical mass and forming the uber corporations like Walmart. They effectively turn into money black holes that draw everything in and let nothing escape, destroying all as they consume and consume and consume.

I guess socialist government programs would be like dark energy in this analogy?
