Hmmm, maybe that's why I'm hearing planes overhead that sound like I'm under the incoming flight path.

I used to live under the incoming flight path. So, it got my attention.

Haven't really looked.

Just moved back from 20 years in AZ - - and its so normal there I'm not sure I'd notice.

Very clear night, no clouds. Stupid light pollution.

Don't see anything unusual. A few planes (flashy red and green lights).

Did not see any arrival traffic to LAX. But, sometimes they come in from the ocean side. I can't see that from here.

More accurately: something happened in the skies of LA tonight.

I am born and raised here.

When TRW (and others) were in their "heyday" - - - stuff used to blow up in the skies a few times a year.

I doubt anything really unusual is going on.

Planners might wish to close out the Pacific Theatre situation so ~other~ missions can be fully executed.

I think we all know where the real hot spot is.

I have friend over there, he's telling me their testing some kind of tractor beam from a satellite... supposedly to capture incoming missiles.

I'm not sure if he's sober, he's been partying all day....

If it were the U.S., they wouldn't have launched over the U.S.. If they were testing a continental missile intercept system, they would have provided notice.

No. This was China's response, and the U.S. can not have its populous aware that we are at the brink of war; so naturally they claim credit.

We've seen them respond this way before hours after we announced the devaluation of Chinese held U.S. bonds with QE2:
www.youtube.com...

Interestingly, the explosion in the uptake pipe of the Deep Water Horizon occurred not long after we moved forward with QE1. A year later, the Russians announced that had a sub in the water and no one put two and two together...and least not the American people.

www.emergencyemail.org...

Chinese, Russian, and US international dialogue should be interesting over the next few days.

I wonder if they'll raise this launch to the UN as a violation of some sort of international legalese...
