Jetman formation flying with an A380

An impressive video released today showing two jet-pack flyers, flying near an Emirates A380. What a thrill it would be to get in close (but not too close) to the big jet. I'll bet staying out of the A380's wake turbulence was a challange.

So far, we saw ex-fighter pilot Yves Rossy — a.k.a. Jetman — fly his jet-propelled wing in formation with another pilot, and we saw him whizz around Dubai's Burj Khalifa in glorious 4K resolution.

His latest stunt, however, again performed with parachuter Vince Reffet, is perhaps the most impressive so far. The two pilots fly their jetpacks in formation with an Emirates-owned Airbus A380.

What a picture!
They look small enough to be sucked into the engines and spat out the back like little bugs.

I would love to have a go at that, the risks would be worth the experience for me.

Speaking as an ex-adman, that is one hell of a commercial.
