Who do you think would be the right person for Alien disclosure?

I would vote for William Shatner, Sir Patrick Stewart for starters. I would also be looking for an announcement from the UN Secretary General as well. So it would work as follows. The UN makes the initial announcement. World leaders would address their nations and then NASA/ESA et al would do a scientific introduction with space charts as to the location of the aliens. And then a documentary with William Shatner and Sir Patrick Stewart would be shown in which all would be explained. Ie Basic Ufology history and guidance on how to interact with aliens etc. They are actors we know and trust to convey the message. It would be like the pre prepared nuclear war broadcasts the BBC made for the event of an outbreak of nuclear war or other global disaster. I am sure every country has something in place.

I think it's kind of a weird question, because most of my friends and I already know and don't need someone to tell us? So, I can't really say how other people might react, but most of us have had these storytellers from the Elders tell us this for generations now so we're already kinda understanding of our Cosmological Extended Familial Relations.

I guess if it's a bad alien, or a really super-duper mean one, you might want to make sure the Armed Forces know first and they'll discuss proper courses of action with the appropriate higher ups depending on how severe the alert is, but in general, I guess...well, gee golly sir, I rightly don't know how to answer your question comprehensively.

Although it is a good one and got me really scratchin' my noggin' over here.


*ETA : I guess maybe all World Leaders on one comprehensive broadcast over all channels so we can all arm ourselves if it's a really mean guy or fleet or something?

that's correct and so many people here want to direct the show in their terms when that would be like your dog planning your day for you. and on top of that why would we all of a sudden believe the very people who have been lying to us for the last 70 years? I've had my disclosure already and it came directly from "them" and I don't need a bunch of lying bureaucrats and celebrities telling me what to believe.

Only Aliens would be right to tell the truth to the people for disclosure, otherwise no one will ever believe it! The aliens themselves have to come down and talk to people in mass landings or no one will care.

The moment will probably have to have the nominated person, probably a well known public figure from one of the sciences, accompanied by at least one or more representatives from the ET species wishing to be known.

Alien disclosure has been slowly occurring for a long time. It has become a part of mainstream culture, whereas years ago it was only a fringe concept.

The only way everyone is going to actually and truly believe, without a doubt, in the existence of beings from other solar systems is if they appear physically all over the world, can be photographed, can be interacted with and look enough unalike us that there is no denying who they are.

People will freak at first. There's no getting around it.

Religions might experience a boon because of the sudden shift in paradigm.

our United Nations already has an ambassador of alien affairs so that might be a good place to get the latest information on any 'secret meetings' with alien types and off planet beings
