I think America is a very great country. I think we can also be better, but I don't think just because we disapprove of how we conduct ourselves that it automatically disqualifies us from being known as great.

.....the counter culture of the late 60s early 70s. This was the destruction of American culture and identity. The hippies failed to leave anything it its place that resembles culture and only ushered in the era of vapid consumerism and the "feel good" at any cost mentality that has lead to the modern American.
