Gun sales explode in Europe, mostly driven by women. With recent threats by ISIS to infiltrate Europe (won't be hard since 75% are unaccompanied men) and kill them in the streets. We have already seen terrorist get their hands on fully automatic AK47s in mostly "gun free" (for the citizen anyway) Europe. How long before the indigenous population demands firearms for self defense?

www.dailymail.co.uk... m.html

Women are driving the sales rush as fears grow amid influx of refugees. Dealers say shotguns have almost sold out because you don't need permit. Police say around 70,000 guns have been sold this year alone in Austria. There are now thought to be estimated 900,000 firearms in Austrian homes.

Weapon sales are soaring in Austria as citizens of the small Alpine nation become paranoid over the numbers of refugees crowding into their country.

In a country of 8.5 million people, there are now an estimated 900,000 firearms in homes.

And gun dealers report that it is women driving the sales rush. This year alone, police say 70,000 guns have been sold.

'Virtually all shotguns are currently sold out, because you need no permit for them', said Thomas Ortner, spokesman for an arms dealer in Upper Austria. For every other type of weapon, a licence is required.

Licence courses, in which applicants must demonstrate knowledge of firearms, used to take place every five weeks but they are now held weekly because of spiking demand. In cities like Salzburg, a line of people outside the necessary government office to get the paperwork to buy a gun is now an everyday sight.

Czech Independent TV also reported on the arms upsurge. As of Monday most rifles in the country are out of stock.

'People want to protect themselves.

'The most common purchasers of arms are primarily Austrian women who are also buying tear [pepper] sprays, which are much in demand.'

Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, said he recently returned from a gun rights event in Europe, where he sensed a change in attitude toward firearms.

“I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves,” Gottlieb told WND. “Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels. I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.”

More potential new customers are entering the market than ever before, according to the Czech report.

Oh my... interesting stuff.

I don't think we'll see any "2nd amendment" movements in Europe any time soon though.

ISIS should know that where ever they run, they will never be safe

the problem in austria is: while politicians (the chancellor is bilderberg just like merkel from germany) let all refugees in and don't mind thousands of unregistered refugees (maybe peaceful, maybe terrorists) running wild through the country, the people learned one thing:
don't trust politicians to save you!
if you want to be save you've got take care for yourself.

my advice to all of europe is: buy guns as long as it's possible. dark times ahead!

Your love and admiration for guns are only matched by your ignorance and lag of knowledge towards europe.
Austria is a tiny country IN europe and has very liberal gun laws compared to almost any eu country,
and the article clearly is about austria ONLY, yet the OP writes europe, and argues that eu as a whole are buying guns like crazy wich are the worse kind of manipulation and should make the OP a shoe in for a job as a newsreporter at FOX.
Im here to deny your ignorance and sensationalisme, shame on you and your followers for leaving the brain unlocked before
writing your gibberish nonsens on the internet.

LOL,

And here I thought the "Meanwhile In Austria" in the title would have cleared that up.

Maybe if you had not started your post with Quote"Gun sales explode in Europe"end quote and continue to mention europe
instead of austria, wich is comperable with something only happening in texas being the order of the united states as a whole. your headline may have been clear but it got murked when you put your personal spin on it.

Interesting, as Belgium is the country that has more people per capita joining ISIS.

Not shocking at all. Guess now some will reconsider the harsh restriction in many areas on firearms especially, as illustrated by the OP of Austria.

Touche.

Yeah, the title has Austria included, had no problem discerning what the Op means.

Miss this part?

How the refugees are doing in eu was not part of my comment, where did you read that?
Do you have a question relating to the actual text?

Totally ignorant of reality. The Muslim areas of Europe are a disaster with higher crime especially rape than the worst us cities.

There are now areas of Sweden for instance the police won't even go.

You can be pc all day long bit I guarantee in nobody commenting like this would set foot in these areas.

Well im pretty sure Alan Gottlieb who ever he is? has his own agenda and wishful thinking when it comes to firearms.
He may have been to a "convention" in Belgium but i can assure you that the subject of arming for protection is a
thing only discussed in very small forums, so small infact that i personally have never heard of any organised groups
of any size discussing or pushing the matter, the mentioning of easy acces to weapons may come up from 1 or 2 persons in a
discussion after a homeinvasion/robbery but its not the focus or wish of any amount of the population worth mentioning.
I cant even blame the press for putting the lid on the issue, because its a litteral NON issue.
BTW the 2 amendment in conjunction with that person Alan Gottlieb should have raised your alarmbells and given you a clue.

Only if the rest of Europe had the "opportunity". If so, I would place my bets on guns flying off the shelves.

More media brainwashing…

Same with Oakland, Detroit and LA, in fact its worse. None of those gang members, dope dealers and killers are Muslim, either.

I've lived the streets, bridges and RR tracks of big cities. I know what PC is, its PC right now to hate on Muslims…

Thats true ignorance.

I would certainly vote for it, or maybe I would have before when the country wasn't riddled with crime ridden enclave ghettos. I'm thinking these muslims don't need Ak47's in addition to their handguns.

Europeans will demand a police state before they ever opt for gun rights I think. Have to salvage and use that precious fear somehow eh.. Ordo ab chao.
