You declared you would never tell any adult what they should or should not do.

Now you're saying something else.

What is the context of the Original Post? Is it about adults having sex or tyranical leaders?

Everyone these days needs to have everything easy, pathetic.

Hard work and sacrifice are what make you successful, or at least it used to be..now the standard is non existent.

I'd say more about this but I'll end up getting banned for my harsh opinion on the matter.

An old man's / woman's lust / wealth is being exploited...

And a young man/ woman's naivety and greed is being exploited...

Who's not being exploited?

It is only exploitation if the participants are lying to each other, and even if they were it would still be a stretch. The websites in the link make it clear what the relationships are going to be.

Maybe society cares. Maybe children trying to make sense of right and wrong care.

Why should 'society' have any input into people's personal lives?

Whose moral foundation? Yours?

Yes but they are not free when they have to live under the oppression of immoral adults as children.

Should an adult's freedom be at the expense of a child's moral foundation?

Who defines immorality? You?

I think you need to mind your own business, you remind me of the government or a religion.

I think society has agreed upon immorality, they have defined the boundaries.

We could mind our own business, but then who would look out for the exploited?

List the components of the moral foundation that composes this nebulous 'ours'.

Guess it just goes to show how utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt our society is becoming.

back in the day, there weren't tuition fees to pay AND you would get a tax payer funded grant to pay for accomodation, books and food.

As far as I am concerned, that's how it should be. Fees etc are merely ensuring that social mobility stagnates.
If you are from wealthy stock, you don't need to work two jobs to pay your way and thus have more time to study and therefore get better grades.

Of course, the poor kids can always strip or prostitute themselves to pay for their education, with the result that they will never get to high office in any capacity (If they even look like it, someone will dig that particular dirt on them).

It's like we have turned away from meritocracy and towards nepotism.

One can have all of the information in an exchange and still be exploited. People don't agree to making poor choices only out of a lack of information. Usually it's the exact opposite, people are given all of the information and still make a poor choice.

I can be aware of all of the jobs out there and choose to work at McDonalds for a wage that is barely above that of slave labor and it doesn't remove the exploitative business practices of the employer.

You're operating from a perspective that if all parties agree to something it is fair and equitable, and that is simply not the case.
