Donald is beginning to sink in the polls. Ben Carson has taken the lead in Iowa. So, in response, Trump's tweet said,

#BenCarson is now leading in the #polls in #Iowa. Too much #Monsanto in the #corn creates issues in the brain? #Trump #GOP."

Of course, now it's been deleted, and he claimed a "young intern" of his accidentally retweeted it AND that the intern apologizes. Well, I don't believe him. I remember him saying that he either does his own tweeting, or dictates them to his assistant.

The plot thickened Friday, when a Trump intern told the International Business Times that, hey, interns don't have access to Trump's Twitter account and its 4.7 million followers. "From my understanding and what I've been informed of by superiors is that Mr. Trump's tweets and Twitter responses are done by him personally," Garrison Groeschke, a Fordham University student, told the outlet.

Donald Trump runs his own Twitter account.

The GOP presidential frontrunner either sends his own tweets or dictates them to his assistant to send, he told the New York Times.

So, one way or another, he's lying.

My thought is that Trump probably isn't worried about Monsanto. Sounds like something someone a little younger might be worried about

I think they're all in on it and they're all lying.

Didn't Carson say not too long ago that he didn't believe that Obama would be outsted but rather that he would remain president due to him proclaiming Martial Law, and doing so would therefore remain President of the US?

I know these guys are all in on it, and it's crazy that no one see's it, and even when they do, they can't organize enough to stop these jokes in power..It's Sad watching it all.

I see it. You don't get to be a contender unless you're in on it.

I hope at least someone who could ever possibly be our next president does something about Monsanto. I wish Trump didn't try to take back his tweet, maybe he is against Monsanto, he is rich and can afford to buy non-Gmo, organic foods. He is a smart man and probably knows only to eat the most beneficial foods which don't include the mighty Monsanto.
Am I reading too much into his tweet? Does he really care what the general public eats... I find it hard to trust any politician.

Yes, that and they're all inbred in one way or another. Like Royals. It's like the mafia against the people. America needs a Robin Hood. These guys in charge can't balance anything.

Awareness....

I see it too. Trump is following a logical strategy and playing everyone for fools.

So Trump is your Robin Hood? A Republican loser that never had any intention of running a successful campaign as evidenced by his aliening minorities, women, millennials, and everybody else with a lick of sense.

He's not stupid...he knows exactly what he is doing.

What I find astonishing is that so many Trump supporters see his insulting remarks as a sign of strength!!

I don't recall Carson saying that, but many people have said that just like many said the same thing about Dubya using the Iraq war to take control of the states, it is said every time and it never happens.
My guess Barry isn't going to declare martial law and continue his presidency.

I can't find anything about Carson saying that. He did make some comments on a radio interview, and my guess is that that's how they were sensationalized in the press. He was saying that there was a strong likelihood that he'd be running in 2016. You can see his words in quotes below. Carson Warns of Anarchy

On Fox News Radio last week, Carson suggested elections may not take place two years from now because "there may be so much anarchy going on."

Asked to elaborate on his comments on "Fox News Sunday," Carson said, "I hope that that's not going to be the case, but certainly there is the potential."

"You have to recognize that we have a rapidly increasing national debt. A very unstable financial foundation. And you have all these things going on like the [Islamic State of Iraq and Syria] crisis that could very rapidly change things that are going on in our nation. And unless we begin to deal with these things in a comprehensive way, and in a logical way, there is no telling what could happen in just a matter of a couple of years," he said.

Basically, just fear-mongering and vague enough that people can use their imaginations to infer that he said something he really didn't.

Carson Radio Interview

I think he and Trump both use that tactic: Talk in 'big picture' terms and make everything sound extreme, and then say how great you would be in the position to make everything all right again and save the day. Let the people work out the details of what you mean, so it sounds like what they want to hear.

He didn't say anything about Obama remaining president or martial law, but that's what you (and many others) heard.

Not so much "in on it" as "do as your told and if we like you enough we'll elevate you to a position of power. So bless the guy they want "in", but doesn't ever have a chance at power......

Well, that whole Obama thing is a little more complicated.

What I still don't get is how the.... Tea Party..... is allowing themselves to be fooled into thinking Trump is some savior of free market economics. I've always remembered him as being a big government socialist.

He's playing off of the voter bases anger and it's finally starting to wear off as people are starting to see his whole platform is Obama 2.0 in a way... "Make America Great Again" being the mantra instead of "Hope and Change" with no actual policy plan.

He may be lying about his Twitter account, but at least he tells the truth about Monsanto. Not many politicians have the balls to do that because they are in Monsanto's pocket (see the Queen of Liars, Hilary Clinton for Monsanto stooge).

The man is a moronic fool of the first order. Every time he opens his mouth its an insult to humanity. Hopefully somebody builds a large wall around him and tops it off with some wind turbines, he loves those.

This guy has no filter. Can you image how much he must pay a PR consultant on clean up? Can you imagine a narcissitic pop-off like this regarding foreign leaders or another country if he should become President?

And the fact that there is absolutely ZERO throttle on him when - if you beleive he actually does want to be President, everything is at stake in this election - is a snapshot of how arrogant and wreckless he is.

IMHO.

That's not to say he's not interesting or entertaining or even - on rare occasions, right...just not Presidential, AT ALL.

I've met a few of the Tea Party crowd and listened to them talk, basically playing the "fly on the wall". Some are genuinely focused and interested only on economic issues. A few are mildly well informed on those issues and moderately articulate. The rest..............not so much and are pretty much all over the place on issues. They don't come across as the sharpest knives in the drawer.

I really don't think Ben Carson is "in on it". Remember hes a neurosurgeon not a career politician. But then again I haven't checked to see if he's CFR. I like him but as an MD he still drank the vaccine kool aid

Trump actually makes a good point there. And it is also very good to hear a politician being so vocal like this about it for once instead of trying sell , allow it and trying to prevent the labeling of it.

I called that when he first started running and got shouted down.
