I'm not disagreeing with anything you stated, but (to coin a phrase) what difference does it make?
I see fear and panic on the right if Hillary is elected and I see fear and loathing on the left if Trump is elected.
We have 3 branches of government to balance any extremism. Wouldn't congress fight any draconian power play against Hillary? I know congress is corrupt, but they do answer to the people who elected them and they are cowards.

Indeed Hillary and Jeb were the official candidates of the two most powerful elite groups in America. The neocon, Zionists were mainly for Jeb (but would have gladly accepted Hillary) and they along with the traditional elitists, the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), Trilateral Commission—and of course the Billderberger Group were mainly for Hillary but also would accept Jeb Bush with alacrity
These are the ordained official candidates( Who have on their foreheads stamped: OFFICIAL PUPPETS) of the elite.
I've always wondered why people say things like this. How do you, or anyone else for that matter, know what the "elitists" want? How do you know which candidates they wish to put in office?
Could it be that it doesn't matter whom is in office? Those that wish to enforce their power and influence will do it regardless of whom is in the WH.

You could elect Stalin as president, it wouldn't matter. Presidents can only sign bills into law that were written by congress. Presidents don't create laws.

I don't know how anyone can feel Trump is a legitimate candidate. I swear the people who are supporting him are probably the birthers, the tea party, the extreme right, and those who are caught up in his celebrity status and his riches.
My personal opinion, if he does get elected, the U.S. will be the laughing-stock of the world. Our allies and the rest of the world are already commenting how ridiculous he is. When you want to know what the world really thinks of you, ask our friends over seas and Canadians who don't live here.
If you really want to shake up the system, Bernie Sanders is not only focusing on the problems of the majority of Americans, he definitely wants to clean-up how campaigns are financed. He's proving that already by accepting private public funding. It's easy for trump not to accept any PAC money and say he's against it when he's sitting on a pile of cash. Trump has already bragged about giving money to most of the candidates he's running against. He's part of the corporate and big political PAC system that everyone on ATS and on has complained about!! Now he says he wants to clean it up? Give me a break.
Now voters are looking at him as a savior to our corrupt system? He has shown himself to be ignorant of how our system of government runs and on foreign policy. Calling Sanders a communist, is par for the course when it comes to political posturing. We have a chance to elect someone who will finally have our ear to the problems that face every American yet continue to be ignored.
The elite will always cater to the elite. They don't change over night.

Don't worry. Trump will have an unfortunate "accident" if still ahead in the polls by next spring. Sanders has no chance because 85% will hear "socialist" and discount him because they will think he's a communist, without knowing his platform. TPTB will get their wish and have their golden girl do their bidding.

I know plenty of people personally that support Hillary. Just because you don't know anyone doesn't mean they do not exist. What it means is that you need to expand your circle of people you converse with.

I’m sorry to say that astute observers have concluded Sanders is in Hillary’s pocket.
He shamelessly kissed her rear end in the debate
I don't think so. I mean, I can see where you get that opinion from, but I found it more of him trying to not be offensive and bringing the debate down to name calling and personal attacks. He was right, we are tired of hearing about her damn emails and Benghazi. Either show us some new information or shut it all down.
Some of my own analysis puts Trump in the pocket of Hillary. In a general election if he goes independent, he takes votes away from Bush or whomever the republican candidate is, ensuring a Clinton Victory.
I think Sanders over Hillary is the only chance we have of sticking it to the elites.
