Fishing, shooting, and spending time with my dogs are a few. Dancing at powwows is another but unfortunately I haven't been able to for a few years.

Yes, the ocean is vast and could be scary...breathtaking...

On a side note...

I see a lot of responses regarding our animals...
No wonder they (our ancestors) domesticated wolves!

I need to do some more shooting, there's a shooting range only a couple miles away. I love fishing with my dad, we're so different. He uses the old and proven techniques while I try every combination and lure I can, usually he wins! Good old worm and powerbait.

Yeah, I've read an article that said pets make people happier than children, children make them feel more fulfilled. I realize this statement probably isn't universal, and I don't know the credentials of the study but Pets are a huge part of being happy for people.

Finding a fruit tree in the wild
bicycling
going horseback riding off of the beaten path.
giving to those who need more than i
open pit cooking
friends

when my dog puts her head on me. She is very sweet, and brings me a lot of happiness.

When my wife and I lock eyes. Its pure fireworks.

When i solve a problem that dogs me. Problem solving is exhilarating.

Another dog comment - these species certainly are a humans best friend, I'll have to get one once I live in housing that allows, I've always wanted one.

Problem solving is definitely fun. It's why I always go back to computer programming, it seems to challenge me in a unique way, and the result... Is a working program! Or piece of it.

Ahh there's children again - i can't wait to have my own. I got married just in August ( major happy moment!) and we are both just on the same page hoping we have a kid in 2016

Lord, when my children are happy, they finally shut up.

They are usually happy because i stuff money in their palm.

Im just starting to love the oldest again....he has just in the last year emerged from his pubescent attitude. Just in time for the youngest one to slide into his.

Kids are great when they are young, and adult. Its the teen years that make you second guess your efforts.

Being tucked up in bed in a thunderstorm. The sound of the wind and rain lashing against the window.

My region is being hit with thunderstorms this week - I rather enjoy it. The sound, lightning, the smell and seeing nature come alive.

Being in bed is great, getting up on the other hand.. For some reason these days make me feel lower energy. Maybe something to do with the circadian rhythm.?
