Where is that planet full of life?

Inside me. I am INDEED a universe full of diverse life. Am I the creator of it? Well, yes, I am. Do I have any control of it?

no

This is nothing more that new age beliefs....... one of the reasons why God has not shown himself to you......false worship to the one true creator......he has rules which you are ignoring.

what are those rules?
Is being a caring decent human enough?
Is caring about every single strife enough?
Is putting yourself above others enough?

If not, well send me to hell, I'm a #ty person

if billions of people believed the same thing we might have some moving ground, instead there is actually beliefs in between the beliefs to make the beliefs fit.

We do have billions of people believing.... billions of Christians......billions of Islam

and what has that done? besides mass genocide.

they all just BELIEVE. Sorry, god apparently made me skeptical

Not true...... there are billions of people that have seen the supernatural, ghost, demons, angels, Jesus, gods, the one true God..etc.. and here comes the funny part.......many who believe there is a God or some type of creator refuse all other forms of the supernatural......another words there are some who believe in God but refuse to believe there is a devil/Satan. Now how hypocritical is that? They believe in one but not all.

Because if they believe the bible they would have to stop living their current lives and have to change and many do not want to change. I see many Christians that think like this......... and live non Christian lifestyles.

I see what you are saying here.
Why does man make everything so complicated. they change the rules so often to fit in with their own way of living...
I know that you will hate me refering to this but as a christian i find out what the heart of Jesus was like in the new testament... Thats it....Anything that deviates from that i take with a pinch of salt...
After all it is him who we want in our lives and not some lunatic preaching his version of what he believes...
cheers

What didn't I try? You mean to tell me there's a waiting period on answers?
As you can see I will troll the trolls.

The ones with true answers to the thread, I thank you. Your insight gives me more perspective to a "religious stance" than the typical trolls i figured I would encounter

I have not judged you and yes you are on the right track.....but for how long have you been on this track? Have you made any type of commitments.

When you say you care this means nothing........ WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT? Thats is what counts..... not simply moving your lips.....

Are you feeding the poor?

Give your shirt off your back to the poor? Do you invite the needy into your home to sleep? What about those immigrants with children.......they are easy to find......any of them living with you or have you found them a home?

Do you regularly visit the sick in the hospital or the one in prison?

Can you prove you have done this?

Talk is cheap.

Do not convert yourself - find that you are not a thing that has to be named or labelled.
If you pick a religion and then labelled yourself, say a catholic, then you have divided yourself, segregated yourself. Be no label at all. Can you find yourself as zero?

Let me tell you brother.....I fight with the same temptations and urges like any other man. I don't walk on water and I have issues like everyone else BUT when I am confronted with these issues and temptations and believe me I can talk about temptations........racing heart..... racing emotions and urges ....... a real war within my mind and body which tells me hey your human.......BUT when I pray these temptations immediately stop!! I can again regain control of my thoughts and emotions. This works and you should consider it.

How much time does one need to see the light? To be enlightened? To some it takes only seconds or minutes, for me it took decades.....

Good luck on your journey.

What is there to see?
Can you see these words on this screen?

Now, look right now to what is seeing these words?

St. Francis of Assisi said 'What we are looking for is what is looking.'

Can the seer be seen?

there is no seperation between the material world and spiritual word, reclaim your godhood; god can never be found because god was never lost. Religion limits god to anthropormorphic attributes.

You've commented that your belief reasons correlate with #6 of my core reasons for religion. You had a NDE.
At this point, we could both post links either proving or disproving the validity of NDE depending on what we Googled.
I just ask you to consider the fact that you were NOT dead by any means in your experience or you wouldn't be here to post. How does that affect your experience? You've accepted this experience as factual because seeing is believing, but try to look at it from a different perspective. In your trauma, your heightened state of desperation to survive, you had this experience. Why do you see this moment as the one of your strongest clarity as opposed to day to day rational thought?

You also speak of prayer settling your more primitive urges and temptations. For one, I guess I'm not sure what temptations you face as I personally don't recall the last time I had to take any action to restrain myself from something. Perhaps I'm just more naturally calm if you're referring to bouts of rage. However, consider that ANY emotionally charged moment can be countered with stepping away from it which is what prayer is essentially.
It's your time out. Your counting to 10. Your moment of meditation on your actions. You've stepped aside and regained personal control of the situation yourself. If this action that you call prayer is what does it for you, then good. Just know that the same inner peace can be brought about by similar actions.

Now you even get philosophical, the person jesus vs the image Jesus. Nietzsche?
Jesus himself was very far from what modern Christianity has become and i bet many people having issues with christians would have wanted to be bffs with Jesus the guy.
