That IS true. Some Poles did assist the Germans as well.

Mainly the conscripted or those otherwise in fear of their lives.

And aside from that the borders of those countries changed so much that today it would be pretty hard to tell who was who and what was what.

Here's a whacky idea... don't go out of your way to intentionally offend a specific group of people & you won't pay the consequences, moron. Freedom of speech doesn't come without consequence and the fool brought it on himself. If you want to use your freedom of speech to intentionally offend people then yes you bring it on yourself and I thought we lived in a "take responsibility for your actions" type society. This guy knew he there was a good chance he was going get in trouble and it's just like yelling fire in a crowded theater.
