The Quran does not permit aggression, only self defense. Allah does not need men to fight his battles. Allah is capable of destroying mankind without the assistant of human soldiers.

It may take a generation or two for them to heal and return to the peaceful religion found in the Quran, but it will happen.

Yes, as I was reading elsewhere about interpretation.

You can't take ancient script literally and apply it to the modern world. You can't do it with the bible. You can't do it with the Quran.

We've seen/read about the tribalism still existing in some parts of the Middle East. They can't even come together in their own country with a tribalism conquering mentality.

Modern Muslims are like anyone else. They are not gonna go tribal on your ass and force you to accept their religious belief.

There you have it from the horse's mouth.

He's one guy.

He doesn't represent all Muslims anymore then Bryan Fischer represents all Christians.

So, is he a liar who is entirely misrepresenting mohammadanism? At who's behest?

What part of his statement is inconsistent with your understanding?

Is he partially correct?

He's a religious radical.

They come in ALL "Flavors".

I don't think it matters if these people view of "true" islam is correct or not. They are not gonna sit on a philosophical debate about that any time soon, they'll just go and act on that, correct or not.
Every leader from the muslim world, now and in the past are advancing the same ideas, calling their people to the same actions. We see it again and again and yet some people still find them excuses or prefer to ignore it. It feels like living in a surreal dream.

I am yet to see one muslim leader calling their followers to peace, freedom and respect for other religions and nations. One.

Martial military exploits and conquering people is just what the medieval Christians did all over the globe and thankfully the enlightenment, renaissance, and later Masonic influence, that stopped after they looted the third world with colonialism and massive slavery.

The Arab Muslims did the same thing. They have to understand as the Christians did when they stopped this that this is garbage now and won't be allowed to happen.
this pre-modern nonsense is no longer valid!

The Quran despite these primitive thinking Imams, says

THERE'S NO COMPULSION IN RELIIGON

No where in the Quran does it say to conquest, rape and force people to be Muslims.

Sure the medieval Arabs did that but they were using religion as an excuse as did the Christians as well

If any “Muslims” try that the world should unite and wipe them out like it should have done to ISIS

This is seen a lot in commentary talking points, if one of the group does it they all do- X group ___insert demeaning term__ are all the same-. That couldn't be father from the truth but no one wants cares about that unless it's personal to them.

Since when does the Shia sect represent "true" Islam...

Luckily, there are only 163 million of those Shia... according to a Sunni website.
I suppose that if a Shiite would say that they are the only 'true Islam', why wouldn't a Sunni claim the same title?

I have posted this before but I still say it's true.

There are two types of muslims.
Extremist and moderate.

Extremist muslims want to kill all non muslims.

Moderate muslims want extremist muslims to kill all non muslims.

Basic and direct but the polls agree with this assessment.

Only had a few interactions with Muslims myself. Currently work with two. Worked with another at another place. One commonality besides all three being smoking hot was that as they got more comfortable with me and opened up all three complained about how strict their husbands were. One was pretty paranoid about it.

If I didn't think there would be a lot of honor killings as a result of it , dare I say a good women's rights movement in the Muslim community might do some good. Who knows.

Religion has always been used as a moral cloak for people to justify their agendas and greed. You can get a great many more people fighting for you if you convince them it's 'God's will.' Christianity did it, The Japanese did it, Islam and Judaism is doing it now. These views are no more representative of Muslims than Westboro Baptist Church is of Christianity. By seeding distrust and enmity between non-Muslims and Muslims is part of their battle plan.

Sadly every time a Muslim women raises up in a muslim country they are either incarcerated, stone and killed. Lately is been more and more Muslim women in the middle east that are taking a stand even when the repercussions affect them for life.

There are Women's Rights groups in the Middle East and other Muslim communities.

Unfortunately, many religious women (all faiths) still believe God made woman to serve man.

Women need the support of other women to fight for Equal Rights. Instead they get opposition.

That is true, sadly in most middle eastern nations women are to be marry in arranged marriages by their family, they have no other choices as even their fathers have the right to kill them if they refuse.

Is hard to change when traditions are so embedded in the minds of girls from birth
