Okay people have read all over the internet, government is too heavily influenced by "Satanists," and yes we have had quite a fill of all that "Skull and Bones,' rhetoric.

Has it occurred to anyone to start an Exorcism directed at the United States Government, indeed towards most all government in the world? I know that is a tall order, and all the mythology about it may be somewhat unclear, considering common diseases were considered to be things of the devil. Notwithstanding the potential placebos, as well as genuine spiritual experiences, would such a course be far better than nothing? We are confronted with greed and disorder, things inflicted for profit. Privatization begins as a quest for sound management, but continues with all the trappings of an outright kleptocracy. There seems no end to bad news these days, so prayer is at least one remedy, as well as the full exorcism, and do not underestimate its power.

A Simple Exorcism

Prayer Against Satan and the Rebellious Angels
Published by Order of His Holiness Pope Leo XIII

The following is a simple exorcism prayer that can be said by priests or laity. The term exorcism does NOT always denote a solemn exorcism involving a person possessed by the devil. In general, the term denotes prayers to curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm. As St. Peter had written in Holy Scripture, your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour. (1 St.Peter 5,8)

The Holy Father exhorts priests to say this prayer as often as possible, as a simple exorcism to curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm. The faithful also may say it in their own name, for the same purpose, as any approved prayer. Its use is recommended whenever action of the devil is suspected, causing malice in men, violent temptations and even storms and various calamities. It could be used as a solemn exorcism (an official and public ceremony, in Latin), to expel the devil. It would then be said by a priest, in the name of the Church and only with a Bishop's permission.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Most glorious Prince of the Heavenly Armies, Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in our battle against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places (Eph., 6,12). Come to the assistance of men whom God has created to His likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Holy Church venerates thee as her guardian and protector; to thee, the Lord has entrusted the souls of the redeemed to be led into heaven. Pray therefore the God of Peace to crush Satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive and do injury to the Church. Offer our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us; take hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit ... that he may no longer seduce the nations (Apoc. 20, 2-3).

Comment: Although a working "pay it forward," program may be much more effective, consider such a power of prayer as a possibility, to actually grapple with the problem directly within a power of mind that includes the spirit. Well see about getting your "Bishop's permission." Perhaps the full ceremony as well might be indicated. There may also be ways for ecumunical services to render the necessary prayers. All of this indictates more research but also at some point action.

On another front:

Social Exorcism

In his rite of social exorcism, George McClain suggests that those gathered take time to orient themselves to the ritual and its presuppositions. We followed his advice carefully and met together three times to plan and carry out a full-length private worship service including the sacrament of Holy Communion before finalizing our plans for the public exorcism. In that preparatory worship, we used the breastplate prayer of St. Patrick and "put on the whole armor of God" as urged in Ephesians 6. One among us who had thoroughly researched the intended beneficiary of our prayers, the Executive Branch, took time to describe the scope of that institution and its overall pressing problem, i.e., a headlong rush to empire through arrogating the right to attack another nation. We then spent 20 minutes in centering prayer and silence, asking for discernment to label the particular spirits needing to be released. Another of our number then began the prayers of deliverance with these words:

"We perceive that there are influences and spirits which have strayed from the ways of God and which are preying on the Executive Branch of our government. They deceive as they have been deceived; they accept what is false and lead others to accept falsehood as well. War, greed, mass consumption, destruction of life and the excuse that "I'm just doing my job" are all symptoms of a deeper deception influenced by these deadened spirits. Those who are held captive by these spirits are largely ignorant of their influence. We therefore pray for their release and for God's healing power to return them to full life."

Your insights and further comments, as well a elaborations of this kind of approach are abundantly welcome.

Satan currently has dominion over all of the worlds governments. He will not be removed from power until Gods Kingdom is established by Jesus Christ.

A recent exorcism was attempted against the US government. They used a differant name for it though, It was called voting.

It failed miserably.

Love and light,

I was hoping people would read the links, which deal with these Biblical concepts in facing that facts. Prayer is more powerful than we may at first think, while kicking back, having a beer, and watching the whole thing like a football game is not necessarily the most active faith. Actual "dominion," in its root definition has to do with God, not Satan.
