No, the BS is no body care about the dead, incl. you.

Sometimes caring about people looks different.

For you it's trying to wrap people in bubble wrap so they never, ever get nicked, cut or scratched.

For some of us, it's trying to empower people so they can take control of their lives and maybe never have to face being dead in the first place because they had the chance to defend themselves.

But, that obviously doesn't work...As way more people die than being saved...

We could probably lower accidents by giving incentives to take some fire arms safety courses. Haven't heard a peep about it.

Marksmanship classes may limit stray bullets as well. But hey this isn't about solutions.

Makes no sense to try to hold me accountable for something I don't do.

And violate the Bill of Rights, and the 14th amendment in the process.

How would you disarm the criminals on a world wide scale?

Considering that most death happens in the inner city and less desirable areas yet the media, politicians, and anti gunners don't get worked up unless it hits a school, theatre or some place anti gunners are more likely to go. The more fair statement would be nobody including anti gun people care about gun death as long as it stays in the undesirable locations. That's evident by lack of outrage even though that's where the year over year big numbers come from. Mass shooters get the publicity and outrage though.

The stat is by the FBI that over 100k people per year defend themselves with guns who say they would have "surely died or been seriously injured" without.

You can't, but you can lower the murder rate...1 saved life is one happy person with a right to live.

I am truly surprised that they haven't passed a law mandating that.

When they do, I am going to have to buy some stock in Sealed Air Corporation.

So # the dead, you have no answer to my first question and are now spewing the same sentence again and again.

I'm done i think as i see where this is going.

All i wanted was a answer to the first question, i'm not gonna get it, so no need to continue...

So let's just arm everyone, is that the solution?

This isn't Iraq of Afghanistan, and despite what some people think America is not a "war zone".

Screw it, we all need a personal bubble. Problem solved, until, wait... damn... a gun pops it, cause Joe blow didn't get his required psych test.

What about them ?

Whose fault which is what your trying to imply is somehow mine.

Which it isn't.

It's a FAILURE of the STATE to 'protect' them.

And you know this how? You have a number of people who have died. There is no way to quantify who has been saved.

It's the same with vaccines. You can definitely point to those who have had adverse reactions, but you have no way to quantify who may or may not have gotten ill without a vaccination.

People that live in them progressive urban 'uoptia's' just might disagree.

Like Detroit, and Chicago, and New York, and LA.

No we do the same thing we do with cars and with booze, we accept that some people are going to behave badly. We promote responsibility and education, and we enforce the laws we have.

And then we try to find out why so many of our young men are going nuts which is a societal issue and WILL NOT go away even if you take away the guns.
