Russia's violation of Turkish airspace over the weekend "does not look like an accident", Nato has said.

Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Russia had not provided "any real explanation" of the violation, which had "lasted for a long time."

Russia says a violation on Saturday lasted a few
seconds and was due to poor weather. It says it is looking into claims of a second violation.

Yea, sure, Russia was dreaming about capturing Constantinopole for centuries.
Once they've been even so close to do it, if not for Britain and France back then ...

Now is the time lol

A lot of things can still happen, Crimea was just a prelude, where will the third Rome have its seat ? Jerusalem or Constantinopole ?

Now is the time !

Well, Russia historically from about 16-th century semi official mythology views itself as a Byzantine direct successor.
They even had dynastic inter marriage with Paleolog Byzantine family
So, by Russian believes Moscow is the third Rome

Russia even calls this recapturing. According to mythology they already besieged Tsargrad when they were led by Vikings (Rus)

When you make big moves, you have to tap into history, Jerusalem or Constantinopole is what you need to tap into.

Leave Jerusalem away. Jerusalem was never a Rome. It was destroyed by Rome.

Looks like Turkey summoned the Russian Ambassador, again, for yet another incident.

WTF is Russia thinking.

Looks like Turkey and Russia are having some close calls. . . .

Turkey reports a Russian Mig-29 warplane harassed Turkish jets on Syrian border

The Turkish military reports that its jets were harassed and put on radar lock by a Mig-29 plane on Syrian border. Russia seems to be continuing to put pressure on Turkey, and on the no-fly-zone proposal.
