On this episode of the most stupid politicos. We have Bloomberg and his mayors against what ever mumbo jumbo.Below are five new and improved recommendations. None of which will do anything well because people. They are ALREADY law. Be advised people these 'new' measures will keep dangerous people with guns out of our schools! Talk about pie in the sky delusional. So let's take a look at them shall we ?

Let's get FASCIST!

1. Issue guidance to ensure that dangerous people are not permitted to carry guns within 1,000 feet of a school;

How the hell they gonna enforce this ? 1000 feet eh? They won't be able to read that sign that says 'gun free zone'. So basically an expansion of the gun free zone.

2. Issue a regulation clarifying that high-volume gun sellers are “engaged in the business” of dealing firearms and must obtain dealer licenses and comply with applicable laws, including background checks on all gun sales;

Yo Bloomberg ?

That is what a FFL IS.

3. Instruct federal law enforcement to identify and arrest dangerous criminals who try to buy illegal guns, and to notify and work with state and local authorities when these illegal purchases are attempted;

Yo Bloomberg ? That is ALREADY a part of their job description.

4. Assist states in enforcing their existing background check laws by publishing aggregate background check denial data for guns sold by unlicensed sellers; and

If it's illegal for unlicensed dealers to sell guns. How does that work ?

5. Protect victims of domestic abuse by clarifying that convicted abusers are prohibited from having guns regardless of marital status.

According to ATF form 4473.

11. I this is VERBOTEN.

it is also VERBOTEN under 11b about what a person COULD have been charged with.

www.atf.gov...

As the saying goes. Better to remain silent, and be thought of a fool than to speak out, and remove all doubt.

There is not one single recommendation there that is going to stop the Mercers,or the Lanza's, and the Holmes.

Either purchased legally, or stolen after the murder of someone else.

Yes people the idiots are raising the village. I think they gots it backasswards.

I can't wait for those who want gun control to come and confiscate them!!!! OH WAIT! Aren't those the same group who hate LEO's?

I certainly hope our law enforcement recognizes who is against them versus who is supporting them! Won't that be hoot?

300 million guns in America. I think that anyone who actually tries to confiscate them will be incredibly stupid.

But how would they confiscate the ILLEGALLY purchased guns?

So, if I were to walk to the store, which I've been known to do...I have to past by a school, I'll be frisked. Cool, something to look forward to.

So, if I'm carrying, which I'm legally entitled to do...I wonder what sort of kerfluffle will ensue?

SWAT teams? FBI HRT? ATF? Assuming I survive the encounter, I'll be fabulously wealthy in the aftermath.

You'll be cool unless someone scared of guns makes a SWAT CALL because you are doing something legally?

Sad isn't it?

I was guessing.

I have no clue how they think that 1000 foot no gun 'rule' can be enforced.

The only way it can be is by going all gestapo on people.

Completely agree with you. The only people they have to worry about are the ones who have obtained a firearm illegally. These laws do nothing but infringe on the law abiding gun owners.

To be honest, anyone who seriously entertains the idea of a gun confiscation in this country is deluding themselves. It's just fearmongering to assume that such a thing would occur. Even the democrats, when pushing gun control, never push to outright ban all guns. It's always restrictions on how to buy them.

Even when the government gets very close to banning the gun (like machine guns), they are still technically legal, and any owners of them are grandfathered into the law.

Gun confiscations are pretty much right wing doomporn. I mean believe it or not, left leaning independents and Democrats own guns too.

Well that's good to know. That no one will take away anyone's guns. So how do these new actions prevent gun related crime? Or will they just confiscate the illegally owned guns.

That is just what Americans in the 1940s thought about their gold and silver until the STATE confiscated it.

That is just what the Japanese Americans thought then the STATE took all their belongs at the outbreak of world war 2. Then were thrown in fema camps of their day.

And that's what the Native Americans thought until Uncle Same took their weapons, and put them on trails of tears to the reservations.

Unlikely ?

Yeah right.

They won't do anything, but give the authorities more play room on what they can use against someone that possesses a gun. Both legal and illegal.

I know.

My facetious seems to be broken this morning...afternoon...whatever the heck it is.

Good luck enforcing this rule.

Here's an interesting thing to think about.

Every single school in my town have houses, usually a lot of 'em, well within the 1000' radius of this proposed idiocy. I wonder, do the owner of these homes have to undergo some form of psychological exam in order to live there, after all, they might be dangerous. ...*gasp*...they might even own a gun or two.

So they want more laws that do nothing except maybe reduce freedoms that law abiding people enjoy.

Government. Always looking out for us. (sarcasm)

My local Ace hardware store sells guns.

They are within that 1000 foot 'no' rule.

Actually, if they are pushing Obama to take Executive Action then they aren't even laws and have next to zero teeth. Remember Obama's notorious EO's on guns after the Sandy Hook incident? Same thing here. Just a bunch of policy updates and guidance to various Executive departments on how to handle guns.

I suffer from mental illness, and the only time I heard voices or had thoughts of killing another human being was when I was taking Big Pharms drugs. Does that mean I should not have my right to protect myself considering I was intelligent enough to tell my psychiatrist to go eff himself?

BTW? I have never been arrested, but yet am I wrong for being pissed at all this mental health talk while the government and MSM avoids talking about the dangers of taking psychiatric drugs?

I have been trying to bring this issue up since these drugs ruined my life, but I guess it just doesn't fit the narrative of government?
