That is exactly the idea behind the rights PC, you can't say anything against america, which is my entire point.
Jackson is 80% white, it is freaking wyoming, so lets try and keep that in perspective before you keep talking about pandering to illegals.

It is one freaking day during a spirit week, I think we will rebound as a nation. No one is canceling the 4th of July.

Control issues? Oh my, half the people in this thread are socialist or otherwise enjoying the idea of America day being cancelled because a handful of students might not like an annual tradition of celebrating America, don't lecture me about control. I have an idea.. Let's cancel the annual jimmy must May Day or how about Labor Day as that had roots in communist workers part labor unions. What's one dsy or how about let's cancel gay pride day what's one day. Then well see how much outrage there wound be on the left hmmm? Outrage because San Francisco and Harvey milk?

Whatever Indy I've been to the planning meetings and see how they operate I know how Delphi operates I know how they use surveys to manufacture consensus. Where did any of these articles say the whine student body was surveyed? Here on our community the planning board extended the park county survey to residents of another city and county. Why would they do that while obscuring the vuntary survey from the ranchers in our county? You should have seen yhevrZnchers who came in to the courthouse and wanted to know why they were not better informed and the meetings were being held at times that the ranchers were all working their property. This is a ranching community after all and so their input is vital to having true results. Amazing how some people insist on such patronizing cr$& when we know better.

The high school student counsel and administrators made an informed decision by their chosen method.

They didn't choose the 1st and 2nd choice either.

Just out of curiousity, what exactly is celebrated on American Pride Day?
I thought Americans already have Independance Day and such.

Who knows, this was just theme they had planned for the day during a spirit week.
Spirit weeks usually have 5 different themed days leading up to homecoming game/dance or some other big football game.
