Idea for a new ATS feature.

Thought of this before, but never seen it mentioned. (I lurked for AGES)

Silly idea really, but how about if it told you who had 'starred' your posts same way as Facebook and such tell you who has 'liked' your posts.

Personally I think it could be a good feature, and would maybe bring more of a point to 'starring' other members posts. How many stars would you have if other people could see who'd given them?

Yay or nay, ATS?

There will be a ton of guys starring members with hot avatars. Its the whole "there is a one in bazillion chance she will actually notice me starring all her posts, will be somehow attracted to me, and is actually hot, and starring is free!" thing.

The less we morph ATS into Facebook the better!

I come here as a welcomed escape from FB.

I appreciate your contribution though. It's great members think about ways to improve the site.

Yes, this will allow me to discern between who is a douche bag and who isn't. This idea is getting better and better the more it gets tossed around.

Thumbs Down too? As FaceBook is working on that feature. Yeah, that wouldn't work too well for this site. Plus many people here don't have this connected to their FB and some don't even use it.

Eh, I'm before the star fest era(so really don't give a # if I have many)kinda why I cringe that social media brings social media minded types. But hey, welcome to ATS- we're not FaceBook!

The 'thumb down' feature is a good point though. Facebook is wanting to implement that, and I am curious if OP would like that feature here as well?..

Does anyone actually even care about stars? As far as I can tell you don't even get a free t-shirt for them.

I was here before the stars too, this is just a new account and a simple idea, lol, but hey, let's not get all ATS about it.

A thumbs down feature could be good too, I know the stuff I'd 'thumb down' usually heavily outweighs the stuff that I'd 'star'.

Smetimes I'm more curious to know which post has been starred, if I can't recall a recent post which would pick them up.

This too. This being a fairly new account makes them easy to check, but on my last account I'd all but given up even looking to see what had been starred.
