That is just your standard phishing email

if it was targeted it would be hand crafted and have a lot more detail to make it more believable

and just because the IP resolves to Russia doesn't mean the server is actually in Russia and are the people making sure the IP blocks not been reassigned since that date as it could of been an unused block allocated to a US university that got reclaimed and passed on for use in Russia for example

I'd like to see evidence this was linked to the Russian government and not just random Russian hackers.

A lot of phishing comes out of Russia and indeed the US, but like I said would like some evidence of state sponsorship.

You hit the nail on the head. These anti-Hillary bots keep feigning outrage over this email (non)issue and even though many of us keep telling them there is nothing to it and to wait for some real evidence of wrongdoing, they can't help themselves. They are obsessed and compelled to make a mountain out of a molehill when it comes to Hillary.

It's also funny that they are focused on Hillary and the Left trying to discredit them, but their own house is not in order. The GOP and the Right are a train wreck that is setting itself up to lose this next election and instead of getting their # together, they keep their focus on the Left.

It's sad. Propaganda does weird things to people.

Double standards are a magnifying glass on character.
Those who assume they are above the law are only out for their own.

In other words, not a benefit to any person or state or nation.

Hillary for Prison 2016!
