3/26/2013 Presentation by Dr Don Easterbrook to Washington State Senate

Committee on Climate Change -- In addition to evidence contrary to IPCC, Dr.

Easterbrook alleges media bias and manipulation of data by East Anglia, NASA, NOAA

and NSF.

Although this presentation was in 2013, it is refreshing to know that in my state, Dr.

Don Easterbrook, Professor emeritus of geology, Western WA University has gone

before the Washington State Senate Committee on Climate Change to present the real

facts on global warming. It is mind-blowing that some on the committee seem

unimpressed as they refer to their peer reviewed publications that are contrary to Dr.

Don Easterbrook's claims. They seem to be reluctant to accept the raw data that is

presented and in my opinion, they seem to be going through the motions of the

committee's purpose with disingenuous interest. As if their minds are made up prior to weighing the real evidence that proves manipulation of data and the climate change global warming hoax.
At the end of the presentation, one member requests the Doctor to provide peer reviewed publications that support his claims, as if he was just presenting non-peer reviewed data. He tells them that everything he presented is peer reviewed, but the committee seems confident that their biased data is true.

I thank Dr. Easterbrook for his efforts, but the committee seems like they just want to make law to tax the people more using the hoax as precedence.

This presentation is very interesting and informative regarding the hoax and the governments unwarranted stand on climate change.

You know what's funny?

Thousands of people study a thing, and it's considered a HOAX.

One guy... stands up and agrees with the ones who think it's a hoax, and suddenly he's the only scientist we should pay attention to.

Like I get that *some* of the data regarding CC has been manipulated for big business and cap and trade schemes etc, but just animal farming creates more greenhouse gases than most of the other ones combined.

And we know this to be a fact. But nobody talks about it.

A few days ago I posted a thread on fukashima and how blown out of proportion the dangers were.
Independent scientific research and all I got was people saying its a cover up.
Japan's a cover up, but global warming is the truth.......
I think people are only happy when they think their lives are in danger.

Oh cool. Another poster thinking that a Youtube video and some random scientist that says something he agrees with is enough to debunk man made climate change.

Why is Dr. Easterbrook's data somehow better than the plethora of peer reviewed papers with their own data saying that he is wrong? You have ONE source saying man made climate change is wrong (actually you have a youtube video which isn't really evidence of anything), meanwhile the IPCC has 50+ years of peer reviewed papers that all say that it is a real thing.

You tube...

'nuff said.

Just come out and admit that you dislike people who are going to lead you into the next century, and that the future can be better for all of us if we stop polluting this planet, and make a sustainable plan for the future.

Just come out and admit that you really don't pay your fair share for hospitals, police, schools, highways, firemen, the military (and you most likely never spent a day in boots), government research into vaccines, cell phones, or even the television you watch 12 hours a day.

Just come out and admit that this is just a political issue for you, and that you are just trolling for a confirmation-bias to make you feel better about yourself while the educated folks around you smile quietly to themselves and pat you on the head like the town dunce.

Look at the climategate conspiracy and you will admit it is all a hoax. Besides, I don't want to be led into the next century.

As the data proves, the 1930's were warmer than any other time since. The carbon does not cause warming as is proven in this presentation. If you really believe what you say, move to China and make a difference where emissions are massive, or protest the container vessels that emit more than millions of consumer vehicles.
Maybe you can stop the .3 degrees per century rise in temperature even though it is relatively 0 since the rise of carbon emissions in the 20th century on.

Just another scam to grab us by the ankles and shake what little change is left in our pockets.
Not to mention the waste of monies spent to support this house of cards.

Ive been standing outside planned parenthood all day. Not one pro climate change liberal showed up to donate their gas guzzler to the poor women in need. Not one.

Solutions for it for the most part are a hoax.

Climate change solutions will take artifacts from engineers to replace the current technology. That will take getting lobbyist out of government controlling the market.

Not even part of the discussion yet.

How about giving tax breaks to those scientists and engineers and grants with a stipulation of results? Just a thought.

I'm not going to say that man is or isn't screwing with global temperatures mostly because I don't believe anyone fully understands how the climate works. But I will say something about peer reviewed scientific consensus.
In 2005 two scientists were given the Nobel prize for their discovery that peptic ulcer disease was caused by bacteria. For the previous 30 years doctors were convinced that stomach acid caused them. You could say they had a peer reviewed scientific consensus. They were wrong.

I only say that we need to keep an open mind.

Definitely a good point. It's more a way to see if the scientist is a quack or not. If he has the guts to put the data out he is serious.

As the Doctor states regarding peer reviewed data, the editors for the most part will not publish factual data that is favorable or that opposes views of financial contributors. The fact is all this computer generated data's projections of futuristic climate horror doom porn is about as prophetic...I mean pathetic as it gets. All past projections are so far off the mark, the whole concept should be thrown out due to the massive inaccuracies of the projections as seen in retrospect.

While those on both sides of this debate will obviously never come to an agreement, real issues are present such as the chem-spraying going on in California causing the unprecedented ongoing drought. If I had to chose a battle, it would not be fighting the deniers of carbon's non-issue regarding climate. It would be the systematic dismantling of our constitution.

In this presentation, the results already show that as carbon emissions rise, the climate cools. I'll take the tax break and buy everyone a Hum-V. The results should be satisfactory and another grant should then be forthcoming.
