Interesting Shot of the Blood Moon Eclipse...

Not sure what forum to place this in so Mods please move as neccessary...

This was taken last night in Illinois of the Moon. It was taken by a friend of ours with a Nikon D300 Camera with a 3 second exposure rate, and at 10mm zoom...



Notice in the upper left hand corner something interesting...




I was thinking it was a jet with wingtip contrails moving from upper right to lower left? MotherShip?! LOL!! I dunno...
What are Your thoughts here ATS?!

I think it's a galactic Highway, you can tell it's a one way as they all drive/fly in the center...

They said that the Pope was going to watch the eclipse from his plane. Maybe that was his plane, flanked by a military escort?

Lines/streaks is a passenger plane, probably on approach for landing. The photo was a long exposure, the white lines on either side are the wingtip marker lights, the intermittent red and white dots are the strobes. When taking a long exposure shot to catch detail in a dark environment, moving objects are stretched or smeared across the frame, kind of like an artist's brush being dragged across a canvas. A good example is a shot of a highway at night, where the headlights/taillights of passing vehicles are captured as very long streaks.

Sure it wasn't you flying along in your other self. Though man, really, did the FAA really make you put lights on. Don't tell anyone, they will laugh you out of the brotherhood. So degrading man.
