How did you determine most of the country is sharing your reality of the lunar landing in July '69? I know everyone in my area, of my age that went to my school and then my spouses school, witnessed the event NOT in July '69.

That's a small group compared to the country/world. Where all the others in the world claiming it didn't happen at the July date? You are the first I have ever heard/read claiming different.

That statement alone might make someone question your logic.

Yours is the first I've heard that ALL others in the world share a different memory of that live event. Do you realize I live in a city with nearly $2million people? The chances that others share my timeline is greater than your declaration that ALL share your timeline. ALL is an absolute.

There's more people on ATSthat have shared the alternative timeline than you have obviously seen.

the Bears were Berenstains has I recall I also recall a night I believe it to be a 1980 when I saw a Ronald Reagan and the Queen of England on television I remember right before the show I saw a mountain belt commercial and very shortly after conference the announcement which I will tell you shock me but after that AT&T had taken over mountain don't no longer existed. the announcement was to the world and the American people that we had detected launched from Soviet Russia and that the threat of nuclear war was imminent and that we had in fact already launched the Counter Strike and that we would experience what is known as a nuclear winter they said things will change slightly do not be afraid and then I did something that I had never been trained to do I immediately got underneath a wooden table and now they understand that's what children were told to do during the drills in the fifties and sixties I am 41 years old tomorrow and these things I remember

We weren't in school in July. We were off for summer fron June 13th to the day after Labor Day in Sept.

We both recall this school event vividly because the entire school watched in nail-biting anticipation. My spouse went to a different school in our town.

OP, You may be on to something. Are realities subjective to ourplacement in a "matrix"?

omg. I have dwelled on this for years and when I saw this thread at work it clicked.
this is too wierd because I decided on the drive home I would find this thread and share my EXACT same memory that you have of the lunar landing.
I distinctly remember being in a classroom and they wheeled in one of those big tv's that they did in school back in the day. I guess I was in second grade.
BUT what has always bothered me is what was I doing in school in July? I have never ever been to summer school and our schools were out for the summer well before July.

If the July date is so wrong to so many people, why then that every year at the anniversary, talked about in the news and TV, there is not a huge uproar of the error. I have never heard or seen anything at those times. So this majority of people in the world just do not say a thing about it? No scientist or journalist has every questioned it? It's not even news worthy?

one thing we should all do is look for not the differences but the striking similarities what is consistent and one thing I can tell you is consistent is that every time one of us has one of these so called reality shifts or temporal change one thing changes and that is something to do with language words something always appears different than what you normally remembered it and without argument to yourself you know what you know so what is staring you in the face if something has changed in the language

It didn't say ALL others see it the same. Another memory error there?

If it is so many in the world, why is it just now news? The the change or merge of time just happen the last day or two?

I don't get it at all. I remember watching this in a classroom. AND it was the first landing, AND it was a huge event !
BUT there is no way it happened in July in my world.
This has troubled me for years I just never thought of it as an alternate timeline or something. I just didn't get it.
I still don't get it.

Probably because my timeline differs than yours on this issue. The thread speaks to timeline differences.

Not sure of the date, but I remember hearing about dolly the sheep being cloned, during the Paul Harvey show. I remember talking about it with my wife later that evening. About a year later, it was breaking news on all the news stations.

Because people are afraid of what they don't know. They would rather chalk it up to the fact that they're just mis-remembering. We do it all the time. Instead of seeing anything as an anomaly, we justify it with a shallow explanation because we don't want anything to be "out of the ordinary". This is fundamental human fallibility at play. What we're doing right now is actually what's weird and shouldn't be happening... The default response is not to wonder why, but to stifle the inquiry in the first place.

that reminds me, in the former reality, Jane Goodall was the worlds leading authority on Gorillas and most of the media/news coverage was of her out in the African jungle alongside Gorillas (!)

in this reality, she is the leading authority on Chimps, with Gorillas and other primates only secondary to Chimps.

I recall that Dian Fossey was the gorilla expert and the movie, Gorillas in the Mist, was based on her autobiography.

But, I know Goodall was also known to work with gorillas.

WOW i thought Jane Goodall was behind Gorillas in the Mist (in my reality)..

because Dian had been KILLED in a native humans - Gorilla clash a while back already

and thus Jane Goodall became the expert on Gorillas (in my memories)

but in this reality.. she is seen focusing on Chimps everywhere =/
