Because Russia invaded Ukraine, who does not want to be a part of Russia. Because Russia is threatening the Baltic states and those other European Capitals Putin said he could take in a short amount of time. Because of Russia invading Georgia, who doesn't want to be a part of Russia.

So you almost got it right, being Russia is the one invading / threatening nations that don't want to be a part of /occupied by / dictated to by Russia.

Please explain to us why Russia is threatening Ukraine about joining the EU... NOT NATO, but the EU. What business is that of Russias?

Secondly NATO had nothing in Poland nor the Baltics with the exception of 4 combat aircraft since the Baltic nations don't have an airforce. The build up occurred AFTER Russia pulled its sharks and jets routine.

I agree with the report - I think this is absolutely true:

The report says all the NATO war games organized in the region by Washington have been intended to prepare various military response scenarios.

Russia has shown it is happy to invade neighbouring states, annex territory, and ruthlessly suppress any internal dissent of the same type it fosters on its borders - so preparing various military responses to possible russian actionss is absolutely justified.

Lets not forget about Russia telling Poland they are the reason for WWII.

ATS - Poles furious after Russia blames them for starting WWII

Once again Russia is attempting to rewrite history.

Honestly the latest reports from Eastern Ukraine seem promising, if anybody else saw the latest Russian Roulette, that's what I'm referencing. Fighting is settling down and civilian lives are beginning to normalize to some degree.

As a bonus, Russia could actually do some good in Syria. The SAA aren't devils, imo they're no worse than some of the Islamist groups that receive US support, like Islamic Front or Ahrar ash-Sham. The pressing enemy is ISIS, and if Russia joins that fight, the more the merrier.

This is also true: Devil vs Devil

I'm looking for Putin's angle.

In the end, a 'deal' that results in Assad leaving or drinking terminal tea, but the secular government surviving and retaking territory is probably the best outcome for the world and the people. I'm not sure Putin cares about that.

But what you say it's not "the truth", it's the official western story.
Russia has stated openly they don't want Ukraine to have an only pro-EU government, they were fine with a both pro-eu and pro-kremlin government, but this is imho impossible since the pro-EU oligarchs are intrinsically anti-kremlin.

By joining the EU Ukraine gives up the eurasian project and gets under the umbrella of the other "side". Since most of russian resources passed through Ukraine I'd say they have many business interests. Wheter you or I agree or not is irrelevant, it IS russian business. On the other side, what business does the US have in there apart interfering with russian economy? My answer for that is Soros.

Secondly there have been quite a lot od deployment in the baltic source. By own admission of germans the aggression is an exxageration of some flexing and escorting.

Perhaps Russia should ask why it is that pro-Europe has to be anti-Russia then.....

Well we can say for sure that the current government is pretty much anti-kremlin, and got out of a quite violent period. It's also represendented by anti-russian oligarchs and we also know for sure that it is very close to the US, not as an ally of the EU, but directly. Their problem is NATO not EU imho.

That's not eh question - the question is why is it that pro-Europe HAS TO BE anti-Russia?

AFAIK the Yanukovich govt was treading a line between the 2 right up until Putin bribed him with $15 billion to go totally pro-Russia - and it is only from then that the "for us or against us" polemic applies.

Wow that would be a first for the Obama led morons in D.C. lol. That is their job, to come up with ways to respond to a Russian invasion DUH, mr. RT today Putin lover. Putin probably wrote that one himself after making his invasion of Israel plans with the Arabs.

Not sure what you're on about? But do you think RT reporting this, is no less real news than if the western media would have reported it.

I think it does not matter who reports it, the report should be looked into. RT is far less credible than most if not all Western media outlets. In this case the story originates from what is essentially a doom porn site.
