I posted a thread earlier discussing the complete lack of media attention to what could be considered the most important UN meeting that has ever taken place. This very moment as I type this, the leaders of our country are formally adopting an agenda that will completely change the way we live our day to day lives. I posted a link to the live streaming events that are taking place but I failed to make available any written information. Here's a link to the UN's general description of what Agenda 30 is. It's a good place to start. I'll post more links that I feel are worth taking a look at as the day goes on.

Slightly opinionated but informative:

I put the links provided in this post in my original post since this was kind of redundant.

Sounds wonderful....but doesn't say how they are going to actually achieve this utopia

This goes in to a bit more detail, but yes, you are correct. They don't lay down any solid framework that makes any of this sound even remotely possible.

The "Devil" is in the details, that none of us little folk are privy too?

With stated goals such as "No Poverty" and "Zero Hunger", I wonder what their real plan is for getting there.

Sure, we have enough resources to eliminate those problems, but the few on top that hoard most of these resources aren't going to just hand them out, or else we wouldn't have the disparities between rich and poor that we already have.

This seems to be a guise to implement a bunch of new "requirements" on Joe Shmoe, ultimately stripping him of his autonomy and independence under the justification of "helping those who are hungry/living in poverty". They would screw over anyone who's in the working classes and act like these resources/sacrifices are going to a good cause, only to pocket it and distribute a few crumbs to those in need.

That's essentially how a lot of "aid" organizations already work. Look at what Red Cross did in Haiti www.salon.com...

That's my 2 cents anyway... I don't think their real intentions are what they claim

I really don't get all the fearmongering. The UN has been about furthering human rights and being proactive with plans to thwart worrisome trends. This is more of the same. The UN has had tremendous success in the last couple of decades with their goals, and they've had a lot of let downs as well. At least someone is realizing the problems we face transcend political and national differences and doing something to help out. The issue of increased migration, for instance, was forewarned for more than half a century due to trends that were then in it's infancy, but sure to play out. This is the very end of being proactive instead of being reactive, and yet people are still projecting their own devils in the form of insecurities on the world stage? No wonder the media isn't highlighting this. Such a shame what is in our best interest is not easily seen by the majority.

Do a search using the keywords 'global enslavement' and 2030 UN Blueprint...

Total enslavement of the planet by 2030

This document describes nothing less than a global government takeover of every nation across the planet. The “goals” of this document are nothing more than code words for a corporate-government fascist agenda that will imprison humanity in a devastating cycle of poverty while enriching the world’s most powerful globalist corporations like Monsanto and DuPont.

As the UN document says, "We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030." If you read the full document and can read beyond the fluffery and public relations phrases, you'll quickly realize that this UN agenda is going to be forced upon all the citizens of the world through the invocation of government coercion. Nowhere does this document state that the rights of the individual will be protected.

Nor does it even acknowledge the existence of human rights granted to individuals by the Creator. Even the so-called "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" utterly denies individuals the right to self defense, the right to medical choice and the right to parental control over their own children.

The UN is planning nothing less than a global government tyranny that enslaves all of humanity while calling the scheme "sustainable development" and "equality." 1984 has finally arrived. And of course it's all being rolled out under the fraudulent label of "progress."

Name ONE success!

ONE!!!!

What did the UN say when their own troops got caught raping little girls? We need MORE MONEY! Take a look at the countries on the UN Human Rights Council!

Still see those same countries trafficking children, killing people for being gay, and the list could go on and on!

The Mafia has a whole list of good things they do to, but it doesn't make them any more righteous than the political buzzwords the UN uses.

Well said, and I do believe that most, if not all, of the world leaders who attend really do want what's good for the people of their country. The problem is that none of those world leaders are actually in control of what happens. They always say things that sound nice and may offer hope, yet the ways they usually go about trying to achieve these goals is, well.... People usually die

There have been over 43 million deaths and over 104 million births so far this year. People will die no matter which way we go about things, but to minimize long-term catastrophic risks is best.

Oh so change the goalposts. Now that I've come up with sources, claim that they're not good enough.

Maybe you could just admit the UN does good, but nah... you won't.

Fair enough.. Lol.. To be honest, I was just trying to add some text to what I brought up earlier. I realized a lot of people don't have time to sit and watch hours of UN meetings to analyze what the agenda might be so I figured I'd start a new thread with some links to stuff they can read. I appreciate your criticism bud, but maybe if a thread doesn't interest you, don't waist energy commenting on it. Just move along.

This will be the social/political equivalent to the B.I.S./Basel Committee banking/financial NWO agenda.

The massive authoritarian policies necessary will kill millions.

In the meantime, all the bureaucrats and administrators will get super rich off the delays and bickering.

That is the U.N.'s real agenda -- to suck money into their coffers.

Study Kofi Annan and his band of international pirates and thieves.

Did you even read your own article? (The one where Van Jones of all people claimed 172 successes)
