There is same-sex relations among females in the Animal Kingdom. I don't know why you think there isn't but it's not accurate.

That's because in some populations, homosexual behaviour among females is not only common, it's the norm.

It was asked of you if you could choose to be gay. You replied you could under the force of threat to your life. That's not a choice at all. Being forced to do something is the opposite of choosing it...
