September 23rd here it is. How do we feel this morning?

Normally, I'd really love to see the whole world burn. It's a silly place and I don't like it.

That being said, I'm getting my first professional haircut in 16 or so years today (normally shave it). It's so I can be Walter Sobchak on Halloween. I'm kind of looking forward to the reactions on my bowling league (really), and I'd like to put off this armageddon for the next one.

Well I'm in sunshine, not a cloud in the sky, gurgling brook in my yard and birds are a chirping. My folks, and their pets are fast asleep having made it through the 23rd in OZ without any change to their evening sudoko by the the tv session.

I am sore today because we went paint balling with the people i work with, i got up earlier and now i am already at work taking time to have a breakfast before anyone shows up.

The lovely lady i have been texting with and making plans to meet up, wrote me a very nice text, so today is a great day for me.

I stocked up on popcorn for the next few weeks. Still waiting for Michael Jackson to get here from Dubai so we can watch it all live. I hope his flight doesn't go over CERN because I need to seal the doors soon!

It's the 24th of September just past midnight where I live but thank you for asking how I feel. I appreciate that and love your positive outlook.

I am having the best day ever. I hit all green lights on the way to work. There were doughnuts on the table when I got in and all of my staff showed up early. I wish the end of the world happened everyday, we would be a lot more productive! If the end comes later today, it was nice knowing all of you.

Yesterday as I was driving home there was significantly less traffic on the roads and I got concerned that I had (naturally) missed the freaking Rapture. But it's nice that all the rest of you heathens are here to hang with...

I brought extra Coke to work...just in case I have to "shelter in" while whatever apocalyptic crap goes on outside. If the Zombies break in, I'm hiding in the HVAC closet (shhhh....DON'T TELL).

I hope that All Hell Breaking Loose waits until really late...I'm expecting delivery from Amazon of the Poldark Season One DVD. I didn't get to see the first three episodes, so I'd like to get those watched before THE END...

(Does anyone have "connections" on this that could help me out??)

The High Desert ritual has started and most of the ladies are already topless and very drunk. It's going to be a long day!

Pretty good day so far. No nuclear fireballs [ well, the Sun came up so technically.... ] no trumpets [ unless you count the kid 2 houses down that's in the high school band ] no swarms of locusts..............

What I'm really waiting for is all the "prophets" here to come forward and admit they were wrong.
I get the feeling Satan will be building a snow man before that happens.

So - yeah, glad I took a bath last night and I'm wearing clean underwear.
Do I have to brush my teeth, though? Is it okay if I just stay in my slippers and jammy pants and sweatshirt, or do we have to dress up for this? I hate dressing up. Really.

I swept up the dog-hair and went outside - it's perfectly lovely - not too hot, not too cold, not too sunny, not too windy - it's Juuuusst Riiiight. As my daughter would announce when she was a preschooler. Just right!

Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, all's quiet. And my slow-to-grow hair is finally nearly down to my waist, so that's good!!

I was awakened at 5AM by an extremely loud BANG!!! and impact that shook the walls- my heart began pounding as adrenaline coursed through my system- I was NOT going to SLEEP through the END of the WORLD! I jumped out of bed, hit the power button on the coffee maker wondering briefly if I would have time for ONE LAST CUP of COFFEE? Suddenly, I heard and felt a series of bass-filled thuds and thought to myself, oh no, this is HOW I END... and reached desperately my coffee mug hoping that there was at least enough of the precious brown fluid to wet my tongue... then, as the single swallow of java hit my belly, the reality of the situation hit me:

It was just my upstairs neighbor getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom.

Yep still here, feeling funky fresh.....this is awwwwkwaaard lol
